Best Cyber Monday Deals

December 2, 2019 by ashadmin No Comments

Hope your weekend was as relaxing and overindulgent as mine. Yesterday Jeff made me and Crosby Belgian waffles with coconuts and chocolate chips and a banana syrup, if that tells you anything. It’s honestly a miracle my pants will button. For Cyber Monday I want to share deals on some of my favorite items, hint my Uppababy stroller is on sale!

Did that get your attention? You can get $100 in rewards when you buy this stroller, or anything $300 or over on right now at Buy Buy Baby. These strollers almost never go on sale so it’s a great time to buy one… or another big ticket baby item on your list.

I have this Babyletto Crib (currently using it as a toddler bed) for Crosby and this one for Wilder.

Other amazing sales & deals

Abercrombie & Fitch has everything 50% off! They have some really cozy looking coats and I’m loving this puff-sleeve sweatshirt.

Aerie has all sweatshirts and leggings 50% off. I have this sweatshirt and couldn’t love it more. It’s a slightly oversized fit and so comfy.

Old Navy is also 50% off everything. One of my favorite places to shop for babies and toddlers.

GAP is also 50% off everything. Another one of my go-to’s for the kids.

Freshly Picked is still 30% off everything and 50% off if you sign up for their membership program (first month is free and you can cancel at any time) with code FPxAshnfashn

Elemis makes some of my absolute favorite skincare items like this cleansing balm, marine cream and oil. Everything is 30% off with code CYBER19

Crate & Barrel is 20-30% off site wide. My favorite wine glasses, soup and sandwich plates and the waffle maker I mentioned are all from Crate & Barrel.

Serena & Lily has 25% off everything. One of my favorite things in our living room is this rattan hanging chair.

Minted has a great sale going on right now. I’ll definitely be taking advantage of it today and ordering our holiday cards.

Tula is another skincare favorite of mine. I live for this eye balm, cleanser and primer. This kit has all three + more and is such an amazing deal!

UPPAbaby Vista Double Stroller

August 27, 2019 by ashadmin 2 Comments

When I was shopping for strollers almost three years ago when I was pregnant with Crosby the UPPAbaby Vista stood out for so many reasons. But one huge reason was it was a stroller that was able to grow with your family and be used as a double stroller. I loved using it with just Crosby (you can see my first review here), but now that we have Wilder it’s perfect for both kids… and can be used several different ways.

We have the UPPAbaby Mesa car seat which is great and easily attaches to the Vista, I use this most when I’m out and about.

The Vista comes with two other seats, the bassinet and toddler seat. I love the bassinet and use it most for walks around the neighborhood. The toddler seat is what Crosby was in before Wilder came around and we’ll use again when Wilder is bigger.

To make the transition to two kids work with the Vista we got the rumble seat and the Piggyback board. Crosby is still a little young to ride on the Piggyback board but I know she’ll love it some day.

I’ve used a few different strollers through the years, but the UPPAbaby has always been my favorite. It’s really light weight and easy to use. Plus I love the storage option underneath. Whenever I’m out with another stroller I miss my UPPAbaby!

Some of the other accessories for the Vista: I have this stroller organizer that I love. We use this snack tray on the toddler seat. I also have the leather trim on the handlebar.

I wanted to share some photos of the different ways we’ve used it since Wilder was born. One he gets a little bigger he’ll be in the toddler seat above with Crosby in the rumble seat below.

Hope you have a great day – thank you for reading and following!

Multi Stroller Review

August 31, 2018 by ashadmin No Comments

One of the “baby gear” questions I’m asked the most is about strollers… which strollers we have and which ones we like. We’re lucky enough to have 4 strollers. It may seem like a lot, but I swear they all serve a different purpose. Today I want to do a review of the 4 we have.

UPPAbaby Vista

This by far is our most used/most practical stroller. We have been using it since Crosby was born and have been so happy with it. It comes with a bassinet and toddler seat, plus we went with the UPPAbaby Mesa car seat and used that on it a ton when Crosby was younger. I love how easy to use it is… I’ve never had any problems setting it up or breaking it down and the seats all snap in so easily. My favorite part is probably the extra storage below… when I’m out shopping I can store my diaper bag and shopping bags down there. It’s something I definitely miss when I’m not using this stroller.

Thule Urban Glide Jogging Stroller

We are not really a jogging family but thought this stroller would be practical for walks/trips places where you might need bigger wheels. We actually brought this stroller with us to Disneyland last year and it was perfect for an outing like that. The seat reclines so the child can lay down… which would be great if you were on a long run or hike. There was actually a two week period in May when we decided to take up jogging in our neighborhood and really got to break this stroller in. Again, we’re not runners but I still love this stroller.

Mima Zigi

This was the first compact stroller we got and have been very happy with it. I take it on neighborhood walks and on short errands and it usually lives in one of our cars in case we need a stroller. It’s small and collapses easily and also has a nice canopy to keep the sun out of kid’s faces. It also reclines quite a bit and has a small amount of storage below.

Babyzen Yoyo

This is another really compact stroller. When it arrived at my house I was amazed with how light weight it was. It collapses really small and is said to be able to fit in most airline overhead compartments… excellent for travel. I also love that it has a zipper pouch on the back, if I’m on a walk I’ll put my keys, water bottle, etc in it.

Here are the stroller posts I’ve done in the past 18 months:

My Top 12 Items of 2017

December 28, 2017 by ashadmin No Comments

The week between Christmas and New Years is always a bit of a strange blur. All the days seem to blend together and the holiday laziness sets in – at least for me. So while I’m struggling to remember what day it is… Tuesday? Thursday? I still wanted to share a breakdown of my favorite products from this past year.
