Crosby Brave is nine months as of yesterday – crazy that in just three months we’ll be celebrating her first Birthday! I guess it’s time to start planning her party. This past month we’ve really seen her personality come out more and she started saying a couple of words. Dada and mama! She said dada first but says mama a lot more, so we’ll call that a tie.
When I was pregnant I spent so much time looking for the perfect diaper bag. And at first I was really underwhelmed with what I was finding. Most were bags I’d never want to carry, I couldn’t understand why it was so hard to make a cute diaper bag. Flash forward to now, with a four-month-old, and I’m realizing that not only do I want a diaper bag to be cute, but I also need it to be functional. I think I finally found one that’s both!
I’m struggling to get myself into a routine with Crosby. I base our days off of her feeding schedule but it changes daily depending on what time she wakes up for the day. Lately it’s anywhere between 6 and 8 am which means I sleep until then too. Before baby I woke up at 5 am every day for work so this is kind of unlike me. I think I’m going to try to start getting up at a set time each day even if she’s not awake to get stuff done. Any moms have any tips or advice?
But anyway, I wanted to share some instagram pictures from the past month. Lots of baby and spring fun. Looking forward to the summer months ahead! Just a reminder, you can always shop these via the ‘Shop My Instagram’ tab on the top of this page.
As of yesterday, Crosby is two months old! It was so special to celebrate my first Mother’s Day with this little one. We love her so much and are having so much fun with her. Every day is a little different and her personality is definitely starting to come through. We got really lucky a couple days last week with two nights in a row with over five hours of sleep… and then back to every three and a half hours the next night. We’re loosely following Baby Wise so maybe that has something to do with it. I wanted to share some of my favorite photos of her from the last month and our current favorite baby things (listed under the photos).
Probably the baby product I was most excited about was the stroller. When it came time to decide what set of wheels we wanted Jeff and I headed to a local baby store to “test drive” a few options. Our hands down favorite was the UPPAbaby VISTA – and I was so excited to partner with them!
