I am so excited to finally share, we’re having a baby girl! Like I mentioned we found out last month thanks to a blood test and have been waiting to share the news publicly until we told family and friends and had our doctor confirm via ultrasound.

Dressing for fall in Southern California is tricky. Really dressing for any season is because you never know what the weather will be like. One day it’s chilly in the 50’s and the next it’s up in the 80’s. At least that’s how it’s been the last few weeks.
Fall dresses are some of my favorite pieces. After a long hot summer of wearing sleeveless dresses I’ve really embraced long sleeved options this season. This green one is a new addition that I can’t wait to wear again. I love layering in the fall, and although it was too hot for a second layer when I last wore it, next time I’ll throw my denim jacket on to change it up.

Thanks for reading – enjoy your Tuesday!
A few weekends ago Jeff, Macallan and I spent a very windy Sunday at the beach. Luckily I grabbed a coat right before we walked out the door or I would have been miserable! We are so fortunate to live close but we still don’t go as much as I’d like. Of course Mac had fun chasing the birds and running in the sand. She definitely earned a bath that night! Over the last few years I grew an obsession with serape blankets. I always bring them to the beach and my favorite place to buy them is Gunn & Swain.
Hope you have fun plans this weekend or maybe get to unwind and relax. I’m looking forward to a mellow Saturday and a crazy Sunday at the SAG awards.

Thanks for reading – have a great weekend!
I’m not really a purple person, but this sweater has barely left my body this past week. Technically it’s cobalt, but it sure looks purple to me. Anyway…
Sadly it already sold out, but I went ahead and pulled a ton of similar options for you.
I’ve been loving layered winter looks and was excited to wear this Saturday. I pulled my sweater over a t-shirt, threw on my leather jacket and felt hat and hit the ground running. The only problem was it was 75 and sunny. Oh, southern California winter, you are a tricky one. But that’s the beauty of layers… pretty soon I’d stripped down to my tee for a boat ride and all was right in the world.

Happy Wednesday – thanks for stopping by!
There’s nothing more festive this time of year that a plaid flannel shirt and pops of red. I’ve been stocking up on plaid shirts lately and this one is such a favorite. The colors make it easy to wear with many different things, I wore it to a party a few weeks ago with a black leather skirt. Speaking of leather, this jacket is currently additionally marked down 50% off. It might be too good to pass up as a holiday gift to yourself!

This winter I’ve found myself reaching for sweaters and distressed denim over and over again. It’s my no-brainer look when I’m too sleep deprived to put together an outfit for work. Paired with some poppy accessories it’s a look you could wear so many places. These high tops make me feel nostalgic for middle school when I wore the classic blue low top version and I’m dying to get my hands on them!
