I’ve been wearing my favorite cardigan, which is really more of a coatigan (coat + cardigan) weekly since early Fall. I love the fit and structure of it and it’s a nice layer on a cooler day but works basically all year – in Southern California, at least. It comes in a few different neutral colors – I have it in both camel and gray, but wear the camel colored one a little more. It’s often on sale – right now it’s 15% off with code EXTRA. I wanted to share five different ways I’ve been wearing it this spring.
I’ve been finding more cute things for Crosby lately than myself… I guess that’s how motherhood goes! Between swimsuits and sundresses she’s pretty set for summer. Although the way she changes clothes (multiple outfits a day) who knows how long she’s really set for. I wanted to share some of the cute things I’ve found for her lately.
TGIF! It’s been a long week… Crosby recently decided she’s not going to nap anymore so instead of a nice 3 hour block when both kids are sleeping I have her following me around until I can convince her to do quiet time in her room. It’s a work in progress and I know we’ll find our stride soon, but I haven’t been nearly as productive as I was just a few weeks ago. I planned on getting this post up Wednesday… if that tells you anything. 😉
Today I’m sharing what I bought and loved from Amazon in April.
Toddler sunglasses – I purchased a pack of these to DIY for Crosby and her friends. I used these beads and they turned out so cute.
Toddler pajamas – I can’t speak on the quality because these haven’t arrived yet but they had great reviews. I think the print and style is so cute for little girls.
Coverup – The best under $20 coverup! It’s one size but can be adjusted depending on how you wear it. It comes in a bunch of colors and is great quality.
Toddler swim trunks – I love this style for Wilder and thought this print was so cute. They run a little big but are so cute on.
Two piece set – So impressed with this find! I think this is so cute for summer but would be amazing on vacation. Can be worn as a coverup or on it’s own and comes in a few other colors.
Toddler swimsuit – Cute style for little girls that comes in a bunch of prints. A little on the thin side but not see through.
Jelly bags – I got a set of these for Crosby and birthday gifts too. Such a great size for little ones and really fun to bring to the beach or pool.
Kid’s camera – Crosby got one for Christmas and both kids loved it so much I had to get Wilder one of his Birthday.
Bondi Sands Tanning Milk – My absolutely favorite gradual tanner. It’s pretty light and foolproof and I use it when I need an extra glow.
Happy May! I was making an appointment today for “the end of May” and I realized we’re already in May and it blew my mind. This year is going by even faster than normal but I guess that’s what happens as you get older. I’m currently trying to map out our summer, mainly Crosby’s activity calendar, and can’t believe it’s right around the corner. Today I want to share my top five sellers from April.
Forever 21 Quilted Jacket – I purchased this in black at the end of March and then it sold out. They brought it back in April in a few pretty spring colors and every time I mentioned it I saw how quickly they were selling. It’s super soft (like a heavier sweatshirt), comfy, warm and looks like a much more expensive version. They’re running a promo right now – 25% off when you spend $85+ with code BMSM25 // 20% off when you spend $60 with code BMSM20 // 10% off when you spend $50 with code BMSM10
Seagrass Glasses – I purchased these last year and used them so much. They’re glass but I love them for outdoor. The seagrass part comes off making them easy to wash. They also come in a low ball version.
Agolde Jamie Jeans – One of my favorite pairs of distressed jeans that seem to get better with wear. I’ve had these for a few years now and wear them all the time. They’re more of a splurge but Agolde is one of my favorite denim brands – plus I wear them all the time which makes the cost per wear much lower.
Abercrombie Crochet Square Neck Tank – Love this for spring and summer. The square neckline is on trend and the crochet is so pretty. It’s lined almost all the way to the bottom so you don’t have to worry about it being see through.
It’s Way Day – AKA Wayfair’s biggest sale of the year. I actually didn’t know this was a thing until a few years ago when I got an email from them about it. I took advantage and made some of my very favorite purchases that year and have loved the sale ever since. Today I want to share items I personally own and love available on Wayfair.
Black outdoor bar stools – We purchased these for our outdoor bar addition last summer. They’re durable, easy to clean and I love the style.
White tulip dining table – A simple but classic dining table that seats four.
Faux hide rug – We’ve had this for years – I love the colors.
Mid-century inspired arm chair – A newer addition to our den. Love the style of these chairs and they’re pretty comfy too.
Babyletto Hudson crib – I fell in love with this crib when I was pregnant with Crosby and knew it was the one for her. It converts into a toddler bed and she slept in it until last summer.
Nuloom Moroccan rug – We have this in our bedroom – it’s cozy and goes with everything.
Navy and white striped umbrella – There’s something about navy and white stripes that remind me of summer. They’re classic, clean and never go out of style.
Outdoor lounge chairs – This was one of the purchases I mentioned I made a few years ago on Way Day. My favorite place to lounge in our backyard. They are so comfortable.
Babyleto Gelato crib – I wanted a different style crib for Wilder but knew it had to be Babyleto. Love the light wood and style of this one.
Round jute rug – Purchased this last summer to go under the lounge chairs. It really brings the space together.
Nursery Works rocking chair – I’ve rocked both babies in this chair and it’s still in Wilder’s room. I’ll be sad when the time comes where we don’t need it anymore.
Brown leather pouf – This was purchased with the rocker for a foot rest. It’s classic and will be in Wilder’s room for years.
Sputnik chandelier – When we first bought our house I couldn’t wait to install a sputnik in our dining room and was so happy the day this one went up.
Tribal area rug – We’ve gone through two other rugs in our living room but this one has been my favorite. I love the pattern, texture and way it brightens the space .
Light tan leather pouf – These are the same style as the darker brown one in Wilder’s room but in a lighter softer shade I love for our living room.
