Birthday Dress

I think every girl needs a fierce birthday outfit so I’m busting out this little red number today for mine! It’s fabulous and makes me feel like the salsa dancer emoji – AKA – perfect for my bday. We’re celebrating tonight at my favorite sushi spot, right on the water.

I thought about wearing this dress to a wedding this weekend, then I remembered my best friend Shelby once told me she thought it was inappropriate to wear red to a wedding. Something about upstaging the bride, and no one wants to do that! I’ve always just steered clear of the obvious; whites, ivories, nudes or even light blushes. So keeping that in mind… I decided to go a safer color route, thanks Shel!
