It might be fall according to the calendar, but I’m still over here sweating like it’s mid-July. One thing I’ve tried to adapt recently is to dress for the season not the weather. This can be tricky when it’s technically autumn but temps are above 100 degrees. My solution? Pick pieces appropriate for the weather in colors for the season. I tried to follow that here with this blue maxi dress but it might be a little more summer than fall. I think I made up for it with my cognac accessories. So while I’m still wearing open-toed sandals, I’m feeling a little more ready for the pumpkin patch.
I’m really excited about this dress. I went one size up to a small and it’s a little big and the drawstring around the waist will allow for growth as my body changes. It’s super light and comfortable too!
