As of Monday it’s officially spring and I couldn’t be happier. Flowers are blooming, the weather has been so beautiful – although we might get more rain – and I’m celebrating in wedges and a maxi dress. This dress was really the solution to my late pregnancy woes when nothing was fitting.
I spent more time than I’d like to admit in my closet trying to make things work that just weren’t happening. I may have even shed a tear or two when I couldn’t get a pair of cutoffs to zip that were huge on me pre-pregnancy. Finally I realized I needed to stick to what I knew would work and pulled out this maxi dress. Since it’s not maternity I’ll be able to wear it again for a completely different look.
I’m really loving wedges right now. I first bought this pair and loved them so much I went back and got these as well. The lower wedge makes them a little more practical and they’re really comfortable. Actually both pairs are!
