When we were in Palm Springs I didn’t wear makeup or do my hair once. It was so nice. We took these pictures after a full day outside. I threw on my friend Ashley’s hat to cover my wet (from the pool) hair. This bikini is probably my new favorite. First of all the color is amazing, it’s a bright/deep fuchsia that is perfect for summer. I also love the smocked off the shoulder top. It’s so different from most of my bikini tops.
I feel like now more than ever anything goes with swimwear. I used to be mostly a triangle bikini top girl, but now there’s a lot more variety in my suits. The off the shoulder part of the top might seem weird, but you can tuck those into the top if you want to wear it more like a bandeau. It also has a lace up back which can be worn in the front too!
We mostly kept Crosby in the shade and she always had a hat on. I was a little worried she wouldn’t keep one on… we’re going through a “nothing-on-the-head” phase, but she didn’t mind. The chin strap definitely helped with that.
I bought her this mini rainbow pool float to match ours, but she really didn’t care for it. We had a float like this for her too that we finally got her to go in. It took a lot of effort but once she was in she would tolerate it for about 15 minutes. Success. We’re heading out of town again this weekend and will be brining it along again.
