I’ve been finding more cute things for Crosby lately than myself… I guess that’s how motherhood goes! Between swimsuits and sundresses she’s pretty set for summer. Although the way she changes clothes (multiple outfits a day) who knows how long she’s really set for. I wanted to share some of the cute things I’ve found for her lately.
TGIF! It’s been a long week… Crosby recently decided she’s not going to nap anymore so instead of a nice 3 hour block when both kids are sleeping I have her following me around until I can convince her to do quiet time in her room. It’s a work in progress and I know we’ll find our stride soon, but I haven’t been nearly as productive as I was just a few weeks ago. I planned on getting this post up Wednesday… if that tells you anything. 😉
Today I’m sharing what I bought and loved from Amazon in April.
Toddler sunglasses – I purchased a pack of these to DIY for Crosby and her friends. I used these beads and they turned out so cute.
Toddler pajamas – I can’t speak on the quality because these haven’t arrived yet but they had great reviews. I think the print and style is so cute for little girls.
Coverup – The best under $20 coverup! It’s one size but can be adjusted depending on how you wear it. It comes in a bunch of colors and is great quality.
Toddler swim trunks – I love this style for Wilder and thought this print was so cute. They run a little big but are so cute on.
Two piece set – So impressed with this find! I think this is so cute for summer but would be amazing on vacation. Can be worn as a coverup or on it’s own and comes in a few other colors.
Toddler swimsuit – Cute style for little girls that comes in a bunch of prints. A little on the thin side but not see through.
Jelly bags – I got a set of these for Crosby and birthday gifts too. Such a great size for little ones and really fun to bring to the beach or pool.
Kid’s camera – Crosby got one for Christmas and both kids loved it so much I had to get Wilder one of his Birthday.
Bondi Sands Tanning Milk – My absolutely favorite gradual tanner. It’s pretty light and foolproof and I use it when I need an extra glow.
Well we made it 1/12th of the way through the year! Ha. I know yesterday was Groundhog’s Day, but truthfully every day has kind of felt like GHD for the past 11 months. Today I’m sharing my January top five sellers and then at the bottom I’m also sharing my Amazon top five from the month as well.
Plaid Shacket – Another month with this as my top seller. This “shacket” – shirt + jacket has been a favorite for the past couple months. It’s currently sold out but sometimes it gets re-stocked. This month I’m loving this tan one.
Free People Pullover – This was also one of my favorite purchases last month and a staple this month. Currently on sale and it’s cozy!
Target Ribbed Tank – I had this in a few colors last summer and was so excited when I saw the tie dyed version. I love these tanks, perfect on their own or layered under something. I bought it in pink and beige.
Outdoor Dining Bench – You can tell we’re inching towards spring when outdoor items are selling fast. We’ve had this bench on one side of our outdoor dining table for two years and love it for extra seating.
Outdoor Tassel Umbrella – Always a hot item! This umbrella sells out quickly but is often restocked. I have two of them and want to purchase another as a spare.
Amazon top 5:
Slippers – So comfortable and cozy. I wear them 24/7 at home.
Teddy Coat – My go-to coat in the winter. It comes in a bunch of colors and is under $50.
Leggings – Super flattering basic leggings. They’re high-waisted and hit right at my ankle. They come in a bunch of colors and prints – I have them in black.
Adidas Sneakers – These are “big kids” sizes – you subtract 1.5 from your women’s size. I wear a 6.5 in women’s and a 5 in these.
Toddler Sneakers – Crosby’s favorite shoes! These are designer inspired and come in 3 colors. They take about a month to come and run a little small.
Have you ever seen a happier leopard?! I can’t believe Halloween is just over a month away. For the second year in a row Crosby told me what she wants to be and what she wants Wilder to be. She definitely calls the shots! Last year she was a butterfly and he was a frog, but I had to put him in her old baby leopard costume for a few photos too. Crosby wore this in a Halloween fashion show on Access Hollywood Live when she was 7 months old and fell asleep on camera. Wilder seemed to love wearing it and was just about the cuddliest little leopard cub.
Today I wanted to share some cute costumes for babies and toddlers to get the Halloween ball rolling a bit.
I think this skunk is the cutest baby costume. Really wishing I got it for one of the kids when they were babies.
This little lamb costume is so sweet.
Also dying over this little giraffe costume.
A Hershey Kiss – darling!
I love that this Minnie Mouse costume is rose gold instead of the traditional red and black.
Cute little baby Princess Belle.
This Butterfly costume is so pretty.
Love Where The Wild Things Are – this costume is adorable.
I feel like this light-up T-Rex is in my future.
Crosby wore this princess dress to camp last week – it’s made really well and comes in several different princesses.
It’s no secret I love accessories. Bracelets, necklaces, handbags, hats, etc. I’m a fan of them all. One accessory I wear every day in the summer is a pair of sunglasses. I keep a few in my car and the rest in this amazing case I found on Amazon. It’s perfect for storing up to 5 pairs at a time… it rolls up pretty small and would be great for travel (whenever that happens). Today I want to share 4 of my favorite pairs of inexpensive glasses I found on Amazon. They’re all under $30!
I used to spend a lot of money on sunglasses, but over the years I realized I’m just so hard on them. Now that I have kids I’m even rougher on them. I still love the occasional pair of designer sunglasses, but for every day wear I usually reach for one of these pairs.
This pair is probably my most worn. I love the size, they’re perfect for the beach and pool and are only $15.
This pair is actually polarized! They look a lot like the Ray-Ban version but are only $25.
This pair is so fun! They’re $10 and have a retro feel and come in a lot of colors. I’m actually surprised with how often I’ve worn them.
I purchased this pair about two years ago and have been so happy with the quality. They’re also a larger frame – perfect for the beach and pool.
Here are some other sunglass related items:
- I think this display would be a great way to keep sunglasses organized at home if you have the space for it.
- Also love this box, it’s almost like a jewelry box for your favorite pairs.
- Or if you want to hang them on a wall or back of a door, this would be a great option.
- I’m a huge fan of sunglass chains – my favorites are this pretty shell one, this dainty gold one, thicker black chain and acrylic tortoise shell chain.
It’s officially my summer, my favorite season! We’ve had a lot of June gloom the past few weeks, but I’m hoping most of that is behind us. I recently cleaned out my closet and found a pair of sunglasses I thought I lost last summer. I purchased this pair over a year ago on Amazon for under $20 and have loved them so much. I recently found another pair with a slightly different shape that I’ve been wearing non-stop the past few weeks. It got me thinking about some of my other summer favorites, and how they’re all from Amazon.
Like I mentioned, I have two pairs (here and here). Both are under $20, comfortable to wear and look like they cost a lot more. I’ve had several friends purchase them too and everyone has said how impressed they are with the quality.
This is a trend I got into last summer – I purchased this set and wore them all the time. This year I wanted a sea shell chain and found this one. I got it last week and love the dainty touch it adds. It’s like having a necklace that serves a purpose and holds your sunglasses.
While we’re hot on the topic of sunglasses I need to mention this case. I originally thought it would be great for travel, a beach or desert vacation when I want to bring a few pairs of sunglasses. Since I haven’t been traveling this year I’ve used it as sunglasses storage and love how easy it is to keep organized. It rolls up to a pretty compact size and holds six pairs.
I hopped on the visor trend a few years ago and have been all about them ever since. I love this one – it protects my face from the sun, rolls up which makes it easy to toss it in your tote or suitcase… but the best part about a visor is you can wear your hair up!
When it comes to trends I always think it’s better to test drive them and purchase something cheaper instead of diving right in to a more expensive designer piece. I found this tote last summer and loved that is was $20, but was similar to more expensive versions. It’s a fun bag to use in the day – to brunch, lunch, the beach, pool, etc.
This has been a summer staple for me for the past few years. It’s such a fun print – definitely statement making. I wear it over swimsuits all the time and instantly feel like I’m somewhere tropical on vacation.
