I am so excited to finally share, we’re having a baby girl! Like I mentioned we found out last month thanks to a blood test and have been waiting to share the news publicly until we told family and friends and had our doctor confirm via ultrasound.
September was the fastest month of the year for me! Between finding out the gender of our baby and traveling to Lake Tahoe for my sister-in-laws’ wedding, there was a lot going on. It’s so crazy we’re already into fall and I have a feeling life won’t be slowing down any time soon. We spent the weekend running errands, buying things for baby and cleaning the house… it was very productive and now I feel ready to take on the week! Hope you all had a great one. 🙂 Here are some highlights from September.
I’m at that in between seasons point where I’m totally sick of all my summer clothes and want to jump ahead to fall even though it’s still hot here. The only way I can justify spending money on new things it’s if I’ll still want to wear them in six months. However, that’s a little tricky right now since I’m not sure what will still fit me then as I’ll be about to pop! I’ve been really gravitating towards tops lately because I feel that’s what I’m lacking wardrobe wise. I’m pulling all my favorites under $100 from Nordstrom and am having a hard time not buying them all… don’t kill me Jeff, I won’t. 🙂
And because it’s out in the open now, I might as well start a wish list for baby too. We actually found out the gender through a blood test last week. I got the call and then surprised Jeff with an outfit in the color #genderroles. We’re just keeping it between a small group right now but I’ll share it in a few weeks. The outfit I surprised him with is actually one below.
So what’s your guess, blue or pink?! Thanks for reading!
We’re so excited to announce that in March we’ll be a family of four (yes, I’m counting Macallan)! It’s been so hard not to spill the beans and I feel like I’ve been keeping this secret from all my best friends by not sharing it on here the past few months. Now that I’m 13 weeks I can’t wait to share this new journey with you all.
