My clothing purchases over the last 10+ months have heavily leaned toward comfort and practicality. I’ve bought a lot less fancy things like dresses, heels and accessories and a lot more wardrobe basics and loungewear. I’m also embracing wearing my loungewear out in public… or as public as I go these days (the grocery store) and don’t see that changing any time soon. Today I want to share the 10 lounge/pajama sets I’ve been loving.

This time of year is always a little tricky for me to dress for. It’s definitely still summer here (it will be warm until at least November), on one hand I’d love to live in swimwear and cutoffs all year, but part of me wants a little bit of fall. I’m starting to shop and incorporate a few fall-ish items into my wardrobe.

Hello from my house! I can’t even remember what day it is or how many days we’re into the social distancing, but here I am. A month ago if you would have told me we would all be quarantined in our houses I would have thought you lost your mind, it feels surreal to be living out this weird historical event. We’re in that weird holiday fog between Christmas and New Year’s where every day blends together and I don’t really know what to do with myself. Truthfully I’ve been pretty lazy and it’s been amazing, but I’m starting to get a little restless and ready to do a little work. Today I wanted to share a blog post with four very different outfit ideas for New Years Eve.

Our Christmas tree has been up for a few weeks already, but that didn’t stop us from making our annual trip to the tree lot. And of course, we had to dress the part. I bought these beanies when Crosby was a baby and purchased a second set this year so she could still match us. Guess who didn’t want to wear hers? Ha! At least Wilder is still willing to match with me.

Happy April! I can’t believe it’s baby month! I’m due exactly two weeks from today, so it could happen any minute now. Insane! I keep thinking how Crosby was born 11 days early and wondering if baby brother will follow suit. I’m fine with him taking another week or so. Anyway, we’ve been having the best spring weather. I went back for this dress in yellow and am so happy I did.

Happy Monday! After today there are only 4 more Monday’s in 2018. How insane is that?! A couple weeks ago I noticed the trees in our neighborhood dropping leaves like crazy. And obviously this is something to get excited about since we live in Orange County and aren’t that used to seeing. Crosby and I put on our coziest sweaters and headed out to play in the leaves. My pink cowl neck sweater from BB Dakota is under $100 and also comes in black. It’s so soft and kind of feels like wearing a bathrobe… not mad at that.
