Over the weekend, Jeff, Crosby, and I headed up to Venice for a work event and decided to make the most of our day. We started out here, on the Venice Canals.

Ok, I confess… I am addicted to the Zara skort. You’ve seen me wear it in white (here and here) and in blue (here), but that didn’t stop me from swooping up it in rorange (not a typo, combo of red and orange). I didn’t even know my life was missing this mid-90’s trend and now I can’t stop wearing them! My lizard top added a playful element and I had so much fun wearing this to work that I repeated the outfit over the weekend.

I’m excited to share my new partnership with Aeropostale! Awhile back they contacted me about being an Aero VIP and sharing my favorite pieces currently in their stores. To be honest, I was really not familiar with the brand but did a little research and liked what I saw!

Since it’s mid August stores are pulling out their “Back to School”/fall items and I’ve been loving all the distressed jeans and slouchy sweaters I’ve been seeing. But since it’s mid August, summer in So Cal hasn’t really even reached it’s peak. Luckily I was able to sneak in these pieces one evening.
