I can’t believe how fast this year is going by, before we know it we’ll be in the thick of the holidays! So crazy. Anyway I wanted to give a little update from photos I posted on my instagram recently in case you’re not following there. I regularly share photos of my every day outfits that don’t always make the blog.

Hope you have an easy Monday – thanks for reading!
We made it to Friday! I hope you have something fun planned for the weekend. I’ll be spending the majority of mine working… it’s Emmy time! Because this has been such a busy week I thought I’d share an update of some recent looks I’ve posted on instagram.

Hope you have a fab weekend – thanks for stopping by!
Happy Tuesday! Like I mentioned last week I’m excited to share more of our wedding here on the blog. It took me a few months to really go through the pictures (there are so many!) and decide where I wanted to share them. In the end I decided I wanted them here and will be breaking them up into several posts to help show more behind the whole day.
Today I’m going over some of my favorite details; the flowers and special touches. I worked with a florist to come up with the vision which included the ombre petal aisle, bouquets and boutonnieres, chuppah flowers, centerpieces and even floral garlands for my flower girl neices and Macallan (our ring beareress). We went with blush and white flowers to stick with the color pallet I was going for.
When I first met with my florist I told her peonies were my must have flower. Since we got married in June when they’re in season it wasn’t an issue.
Because we had both round and rectangular tables at the reception I wanted a variety of vase sizes to break up the tables. My parents and I collected various smaller vases and then spray painted them shades of gold.
A few days before the wedding my mom and I went on a pineapple shopping spree. We bought and spray painted over 20 pineapples for more ceremony and reception decor. I loved how they lined my ombre aisle and flanked the flowers on the tables.
Since we had so much going on, I wanted to keep the cake fairly simple. We used a vintage topper than Jeff’s grandparents had on an anniversary cake as well as one I bought on etsy because our first dance was “Fly Me to the Moon.”
Hope you’re enjoying an extra long weekend. We’ve had a serious May Gray here but it’s given us an excuse to focus on the last minute things we need to get done before our wedding. With all the amazing holiday sales going on it’s the perfect time to stock up on summer pieces. Make sure to check them out!
By now you know Nordstrom is in the midst of their half-yearly sale. So many great things at 40% off.

Phew! We made it to Friday. My week was actually pretty mellow, but I’m still coming down from the business of the last few months. I’ve been asked many times if I re-wear clothing and wanted to share another way I wore this Nasty Gal jumpsuit. You may remember me first wearing it last month. We went up to Hollywood for my best friend, Shelby’s, Birthday last Saturday and I reached for it to be warm in the rain. So yes, I do wear things multiple times when I love them. 🙂
I’ve been searching for the perfect bikinis for my bachelorette and honeymoon. I’m having so much fun thinking about and planning for them and maybe I’m over-shopping. Don’t tell Jeff.
On that note, here are five things on my wish list this week..
I’m excited for a weekend of warmer weather and am hoping Jeff and I are able to spend a few relaxing hours at the beach.
Don’t forget to check out the Shopbop sale – there are SO many great deals and it runs through tomorrow!
A few weekends ago Jeff, Macallan and I spent a very windy Sunday at the beach. Luckily I grabbed a coat right before we walked out the door or I would have been miserable! We are so fortunate to live close but we still don’t go as much as I’d like. Of course Mac had fun chasing the birds and running in the sand. She definitely earned a bath that night! Over the last few years I grew an obsession with serape blankets. I always bring them to the beach and my favorite place to buy them is Gunn & Swain.
Hope you have fun plans this weekend or maybe get to unwind and relax. I’m looking forward to a mellow Saturday and a crazy Sunday at the SAG awards.
