4 Must-Have Jeans For Pregnancy

I’m over half-way through my second pregnancy and if there’s anything I learned from the first time it’s that getting dressed isn’t always easy. Luckily last time I picked up some tricks (aka closet staples) to soften the blow. I have a couple of tried and true pairs of jeans that I’m still fitting in/relying on heavily. And I’ve also been trying out two new pairs of maternity jeans.

Velour Jumpsuit

This is the second time I’ve been pregnant around the holidays and it’s interesting. In some ways it’s really great, like indulging in all the yummy food that’s around this time of year. Wearing all the cozy layers – sweaters, jackets, etc. But it comes with challenges too… always being the designated driver and trying to figure out what to wear to a holiday party when all you want is to sit on your couch in your PJ’s. I think I found the answer to the what to wear part. This velour jumpsuit is just as comfortable as pajamas, but looks super chic. It’s not maternity, but definitely has enough give to work with a bump. Perfect for pregs AND regs.

Cozy Fall Sweaters

Happy Monday! After today there are only 4 more Monday’s in 2018. How insane is that?! A couple weeks ago I noticed the trees in our neighborhood dropping leaves like crazy. And obviously this is something to get excited about since we live in Orange County and aren’t that used to seeing. Crosby and I put on our coziest sweaters and headed out to play in the leaves. My pink cowl neck sweater from BB Dakota is under $100 and also comes in black. It’s so soft and kind of feels like wearing a bathrobe… not mad at that.

10 Gender Prediction Tests

Ever since we announced our pregnancy I’ve gotten a lot of questions about if we know the gender. I mentioned in this post, but we did a blood test back in September and actually found out then. I did a poll on IG stories the other day asking what you thought we were having and the results came back an even split. Exactly the same number of votes for a girl and same for a boy. What are the odds?! We plan to spill the beans soon… but first I thought it would be fun to test out some gender predicting old wives tales.

Thanksgiving Dress Outfit Option

Messy hair, don’t care… should have been the title of this post. We were running around all morning before I took these and my hair could definitely use a brushing… oops. I’m wearing another bump-hugging dress that I love and think this outfit would be perfect for a dressier Thanksgiving. We usually keep it pretty casual on Turkey Day, but I wanted to throw out this option if you’re searching for a dress option.

Dressing The Bump

I’m 17 weeks pregnant now and feel like I’ve popped! With Crosby I wasn’t visibly showing until around 22 weeks…. it happens a lot faster the second time. I also feel like time is going by sooo fast now. Like I’m going to blink and it’s going to be baby time. Trying to soak up these last months with just Crosby.
