By this point in the summer you’re probably being inundated with fall looks, but I’m keeping it real and dressing for the current season. I grabbed this colorful romper while shopping the other day and wanted to wear it in a summer-y way so I paired it with this straw bag and these slides.
Happy Monday! Hope you had a good weekend. We spent ours doing more house stuff (surprise surprise). It’s finally starting to come together and I’m excited to share more soon. Once we get floors and stuff. 🙂 I thought it was time to do an instagram update. Make sure you’re following me there to see this kind of stuff sooner.
Enjoy your Monday – thanks for stopping by!
I have a confession, I’ve had a growing obsession with lace dresses, specifically Self Portrait dresses, for far too long now. This isn’t anything new, but I feel like it’s time to dive in and dissect the problem.
Because we live in this social media crazed world where every night out with friends gets documented and then shared it’s hard to wear the same things to different events. Let’s be honest, no one wants to spend hundreds of dollars on a dress for your college friend’s wedding if you feel like you can’t wear it again. So I’ve done a little research and have found some of the best and most affordable dupes to these gorgeous dresses.
Are you into these dresses as much as I am?! Hope you have a great weekend!
It’s hard to accept we’re almost half-way through the second month of the year. It’s been buuuuuusy. Since V-Day is Sunday, I thought I’d share another gift guide with some last-minute inspiration. Sometimes guys get a little lost around this holiday… so feel free to pass this along to your significant others. Jeff and I usually make dinner at home to avoid the crowds and just spend the day together. Here are some of my favorite gifts.
Sometimes it’s fun to bring out the show stoppers and this skirt is definitely one of them! A sequined, rose gold maxi? I think I’ve found my spirit animal in the form of a skirt! This is such a fun statement piece for date night or girls night or any excuse you may have to get dressed up. Mine was 8 am Sunday to take these pics and get breakfast burritos #living. Hopefully you have somewhere more exciting to where it.
I paired it with my favorite white lace crop top (also seen here // wore to my bachelorette party with the matching skirt), but think it would look so chic with this simple one. Even though we’ve been having a heatwave, I topped it with my trusty moto jacket, because winter.
