Welcome Monday! I’m so excited because it’s my wedding week! Part of me feels like we’ve been planning for years and part of me feels like we just got engaged yesterday. It’s super surreal that it’s almost here and I’m so excited!
I thought I’d kick off this week with a little white romper. I actually ordered this a few months back to wear to my first shower but it didn’t arrive on time. All was fine and I ended up wearing this dress that I loved just as much. But back to this romper, I’d never seen one quite like this (and I have A LOT of rompers), the ruffle detail was what sold me. I’m actually planning on wearing this the day after our wedding to our family brunch.
I’m so excited for warm weather and spring clothes. Not that it’s been too cold here recently (it was 90 degrees last week) but I’m excited to start wearing my favorite things again. I could not wait to bring out this romper but made sure to layer a cozy cardigan over it so I could stay warm in the morning.
I’m just as into rompers this year as I was last so get ready to see them on repeat. It’s the perfect time to start buying them before the good ones are gone. They’re a great “festival fashion” staple if you’re into that kinda thing. Actually this whole look would work for a festival. continue reading
I’m all about breaking the norm; eating pizza for breakfast, dressing up on casual Fridays or, like I’m doing here, wearing pastels in the fall. I first put on a black skirt before I tried this one. The blush hues in the top caught my eye and once I put the skirt on it seemed like a perfect match. Without being too matchy matchy. continue reading
Although I have a really relaxed dress code at the office, I know not everyone does. But the best way to have fun and bend the rules a bit is with your accessories. Little things like a pop of color with a shoe, a glimmer of rose gold, statement earrings or a great structured bag go a long way. I’ve put together some of my favorite pieces you can easily style in and out of your everyday work wear.
