Tis the season… to buy matching family pajamas! I know, I know… it’s not even Halloween yet but these things go fast! Usually by mid-November lots of sizes are sold out, so if you’re thinking …

Rainy Day Style
At this point in quarantine the highlight to our days is time spent outside. The kids and I (and sometimes Jeff) have been taking two long walks around the neighborhood every day and spending as much time playing in the back yard as possible.

Happy 3rd Birthday Crosby
Happy Birthday Crosby Brave! Three years ago (last night) Jeff and I were watching the Bachelor finale when I started to feel what I thought were Braxton Hicks contractions. I secretly downloaded a contraction timer app and monitored them without telling him. At 3 am we headed to the hospital “just in case” and Crosby was born about seven hours later.

Family Trip To The Tree Farm
Our Christmas tree has been up for a few weeks already, but that didn’t stop us from making our annual trip to the tree lot. And of course, we had to dress the part. I bought these beanies when Crosby was a baby and purchased a second set this year so she could still match us. Guess who didn’t want to wear hers? Ha! At least Wilder is still willing to match with me.
on me: beanie, jacket, top, jeans, shoes
on Wilder: beanie, onesie, pants, shoes
on Crosby: hair clip, outfit, shoes

Holiday Family Pajamas
Two years ago when Crosby was just a baby we got matching family holiday pajamas. It was so fun for us all to match… even Mackie. They didn’t have any for dogs so we bought a toddler pair for her to wear. (I think we started a trend because now there are dog pj’s included in a lot of them.) Bonus, Crosby wore the toddler set last year. 🙂 And last year just Crosby and I had matching pjs, but it’s one of my favorite traditions this time of year. Holiday pjs always sell out FAST so today I wanted to do a round up for you in case you’re shopping for any.

The Transition from One to Two Kids
I cannot believe it’s already August… that means Wilder is almost 4 months old. Insane. It’s crazy to think that I’ve been a mom of two for that long. Most days I feel like I’m just trying to keep my head above water and survive until nap/bed time. I’ve had a lot of requests to talk about the transition from one to two kids.

Happy 2nd Birthday Crosby!
Today Crosby is two. TWO YEARS OLD! 730 days. I can’t wrap my head around how it happened so quickly. It feels like she was just born. I blinked and now she’s a toddler that’s growing and learning every day. I love watching her change, but I’m scared I’m going to wake up one day and she’s going to be 12.

Pregnancy Q&A
As of today I’m 35 weeks pregnant. I kind of can’t believe it! Crosby was born at 38 weeks and 3 days and that’s just so soon! I’m not feeling “ready,” but doubt I ever will. I am ready to not be pregnant anymore though!

Overalls for Pregnancy and Beyond
We did it! We moved Crosby into her new bedroom over the weekend… so far, so good… or about as good as can be expected while she’s teething and going through a sleep regression. No one is getting a full night’s rest around here these days. Now that we have less than seven weeks until baby boy is due, it’s crunch time to get the nursery ready. I wore this outfit on Sunday when we officially made the room switch, snapped a mirror selfie and got so many questions about where my overalls and other pieces were from, I knew I had to shoot it for a blog post.
