Shopbop is having their spring sale now through March 8th. It's one of my favorite times to stock up on items that rarely (if ever) go on sale. And the more you spend, the more you save.

What a year it’s been! 2015 was the best year of my life so far.
We traveled a lot (New York twice, Palm Springs several times, Arizona, San Francisco, Las Vegas, Mexico…) got married and bought a house! It’s been pretty non-stop and I’m not going to lie, I’m looking forward to slowing down a bit in 2016.
I wanted to share my favorite photos from the blog this year. You can click on any image for the original blog post. continue reading
I can’t believe it but I have another post from our honeymoon in Mexico. I almost forgot about these pictures! We shot them one of our first days at The Jashita Hotel in Tulum (read more about my hotel recs here). Like a lot of the outfits I packed, I’d been saving this dress (it’s on sale for under $15 right now!!) for our honeymoon. Something about the off-the-shoulder summer trend combined with the lace detailing screamed Tulum to me.
Looking at these photos is giving me a serious case of wanderlust. Lucky for me we’re off on another adventure today! Make sure to follow along on instagram and snapchat (I’m ashnfashn there too) to see where we’re off to. continue reading
Last month we were lucky enough to go on a nine-day honeymoon in Mexico. I’ve posted plenty of pictures of what I wore while we were there and thought it was time to share some recommendations of where to stay if you’re planning a similar trip.
We spent our first five days in Riviera Maya, which is about 45 minutes south of Cancun and 15 minutes north of Playa del Carmen. We didn’t really know much about the area… Jeff had been to Cancun years ago and I’d been to Cozumel and Tulum on a cruise, but aside from that we were going in blind. We ended up finding our Resort, The Blue Diamond, on Jetsetter and were so impressed! continue reading
In case you haven’t been able to tell by now, my vacation style was pretty low maintenance. FYI, this particular day my hair was unwashed from a dip in the ocean the day before. #honesty. This dress was such a fun piece to wear as a coverup and even sans swimsuit. I packed it specifically for Tulum and it fit in so well where we stayed at the Jashita Hotel.
These pics have me seriously missing Mexico and trying to plan our holiday trip somewhere tropical. Any suggestions?
The second half of our honeymoon we made our way south from Riviera Maya to the beaches of Tulum. I’d been to Tulum years ago on a cruise with my family and have been hearing nothing but amazing things for the past few years and was dying to visit again. It is really unlike any other place. We stayed at the Jashita Hotel in Soliman Bay which is a good 20 minutes from the popular beach area and would not have traded it for the world. Our hotel was very small, only 20 rooms total and gave off Euro/Mediterranean vibes. It’s a must visit if you’re planning a trip to Tulum! continue reading
