Right after I graduated high school, my mom bought me a trench coat from The Gap. At the time I could not imagine ever wearing it. I saw it as an ugly, dated, brown thing that did not appeal to me. Flash forward a few years and I was wearing it and eating my words. I loved it… and I still do. Over the years I’ve acquired a few more and love mixing them into my wardrobe. I wore this to dinner at Perch in downtown LA Saturday night to celebrate my best friend, Shelby’s birthday.
