Happy Friday! We're currently experiencing a little heatwave (it's supposed to be 80 degrees today) so I'm excited for a weekend spent outside. This week I styled the Old Navy joggers from my monthly staples five different ways. Truthfully it was a little warm to wear them much outside of the house so most of the looks are centered around comfort. Hope you have a great weekend!
Usually January drags on - after the busy holiday season it just seems endless, but this year it doesn't seem that slow. I'm thinking that's because life has pretty much been the same for the past 10 months. There are certain things I like to do for work at the beginning of the year and one of them is going through my analytics from the past year to see what performed the best. Much like I do monthly when I share my best sellers. So today I'm rounding up my top 5 best sellers from all of 2020.
I'm so excited to kick off my first week of my new monthly staple series. This is something I've been wanting to start for awhile but decided to wait until the new year to really dive in. Each week I will choose one of my monthly staples to style five ways. First up is the Madewell York Half-Zip Sweater. I love this sweater, it's such a great wardrobe staple for winter. It comes in two other colors (gray and amber) and I honestly think they're all equally versatile. I went with the blush because not only do I love the color, but I thought it would be fun to style with so much - winter whites, blacks, jeans, etc.
I don't know about you but Monday really felt like the first day of 2021. There's something about the first full week of the year that really makes it feel like a fresh start. And we're already half way through the week! Today I'm sharing my top five sellers from last month there's one brand new item and four that have made their appearance on the list throughout the year.
2020 was the year that really changed the way I shop. Instead of buying trendy stand out pieces I've gone back to basics and curated a wardrobe of staples that I reach for over and over again. I found the holes in my closet and filled them with what I know I need and will wear. A lot of last year was spent in leggings and lounge wear, but I found just by having the right items getting dressed was fun. This year is starting out the same - meaning I'm not shopping for dresses, heels, or statement-y pieces. Which is why I wanted to start this series sharing staples I've chosen for the month and plan to style multiple ways.
