Stripes and tassels on a coverup?! You know I snatched thisup as soon as I spotted it!
I live close to the beach and coverups are a summer staple for me. Cutoffs and a tank are great but can get a little dull. So I’m always looking for cute coverups to add in to the mix. This one is perfect for summer. It also comes in pink, off white andorangeand it’s under $30. I also love this one you’re looking for more of a sundress.
I mean, I’m obsessed and it’s only May. Get ready to see me wear this all summer long.
I’m all about pom poms right now. How cute are these sandals? They’re priced so well at $40 which is great for a trendy item. I don’t know about you but I don’t like to spend a lot on such trendy pieces.
These are so versatile I’ve already worn them a few different ways, like with overalls to brunch last weekend. But here I pulled out their red and blue with this romper and my Celine bag and was ready to go!
Happy Friday! I’m so excited to have a lazy weekend and tackle some house projects that have been looming over us for awhile now. Like hopefully hanging this chair!
But before we dive into that I wanted to share a house photo. This is the living room section of our great room. When we bought the house this was actually a bedroom, but we wanted a big open room so we knocked the (load bearing) wall down and opened it up. We are still waiting on a built-in to go inside the old closet.
I’ve been wanting to upgrade our coffee table for a long time. I got our current one over five years ago when I bought my condo. The thing I hate about it is it’s glass top. I’m constantly wiping it down with windex and it never feels clean. Jeff wants to build us a new one eventually (once he’s finished with several other projects), so for now we’re living with it. West Elmhad one I loved last year, but it’s not available any more. I love the idea of a bean shaped one similar to this one but can’t decide if I want a marble or wood topper.
I’m also on the hunt for a rug. For some reason I’m being super indecisive about it, which isn’t like me at all. I know I want something that compliments the space but I’m having a hard time narrowing it down. I love this onebut I’m not sure if it’s too blue for the room. Thisis another contender, I’m just not sure how it will hold up.
Hope you have a great weekend – thanks for reading!
This dress is amazing – and such a steal for under $40. I’m obsessed with the floral pattern and shape and just wanted to twirl while wearing it. Totally channeled my inner five- year-old for a group of golfers who watched us shoot this. #noshame
Now I just need someone to invite me to a tea party or fancy brunch so I can dress it up!
Happy Wednesday! Now that it’s mid-May (side note, how is that even possible?) I’m really thinking ahead to summer. This week my wish list is full of my warm weather favorites. Cheeky beach hats, tassel straw bagsand sundresses. I’m also focused on furnishing our backyard. How perfect are these lounge chairs?! But that price tag? No bueno. Off to find some more affordable alternatives!
I think powder blue is my favorite color to wear at the moment. It’s soft and feminine without being overly girly. And I’m loving it paired with my cognac shoes and bag.
Thismight be the perfect spring dress. It’s the prettiest shade of baby blue, off-the-shoulder and right around $50. What more could you want? Sadly, things this good never last long and it’s almost sold out. I’m pulling some similar options if you’re looking for more.
