The Shopbop sale is now underway and so many of my favorite pieces are included. It’s the best time to buy designer items that don’t normally go on sale… or maybe just something you’ve had your eye on. I usually take this as a sign to shop ahead for spring and summer, my favorite seasons. One thing I love about Shopbop is their quick shipping and great customer service. Another Wednesday and another great sale! This week it’s the Surprise Sale from Shopbop. Now until Thursday select items are up to 40% off. I’m using this as another excuse to stock up on some good basics – my favorites are shoes and bags. It’s also a great time to make a dent in your Christmas shopping. I’m trying to get most of mine done before Thanksgiving this year. Does that seem even remotely possible or am I crazy?!

I’m a sucker for a brightly colored wall, so when I spotted this one out of the corner of my eye while driving home from Trader Joes awhile back I made a mental note to bring Jeff back here to shoot an outfit. Luckily a month of so later I finally remembered. There are some parts of blogging that seem really strange to other people. Like stopping in a random neighborhood on a Saturday morning and posing in front of a strangers fence while people drive by. But over time you kind of learn to roll with the punches. continue reading
