When we moved Crosby into a different bedroom last year before Wilder was born it never really got decorated and styled how I wanted. For the last several months we’ve been planning a room makeover to update her room and finally decorate it. The beginning of the year always gets me wanting to make healthier choices. This year I’m trying to get more greens in any way I can so I came up with an easy mocktail that’s loaded with healthy ingredients. This recipe takes less than two minutes and is instantly refreshing, perfect for a happy hour pick me up if you opt to skip the drink but want to switch it up from just water. My favorite way to spice it up? Adding a fun sugar rim to sweeten the drink.

Today I want to talk about one of my favorite topics… jeans! Ha. But really, I love them and basically live in them in the cooler months. When I was pregnant (both times) I missed them soo much. Maternity jeans are HARD, but that’s a whole other topic. Anyway, today I want to share and compare my two favorite pairs of high-waisted denim.

January always feels like the longest month, for some reason time moves so slow and each week feels like a month. I think it’s the holiday come down/start of the year that just seems to drag. For me it helps to look ahead to spring and I usually start doing that with my wardrobe. Last week I did a little shopping and pulled together some new fresh looks to get me excited for the warmer months ahead.

I’ve been wanting a skincare fridge for awhile now and was so happy that Jeff finally took the hint and got me one for Christmas. I had planned to set it up in our office… but that room is still a catchall/shit show. Until we can get our lives together and have a functioning office, my beauty fridge is set up in our bedroom and I am loving it.

Nine months! As much time out in the world as Wilder was in the womb (roughly). I am in disbelief that my baby will be one in just three short months. It’s happening though, and there’s nothing I can do to stop it. We’re already seeing the bittersweet signs of him starting the transition from baby to toddler. The other day we had to adjust his crib mattress all the way the lowest position.

A question I get pretty often is what are my newborn “must-haves” I’ve done a couple similar posts in the past but never really nailed down those holy grail products. Now that I have two kids and am removed from the newborn phase I think it’s a good time.

Happy first Monday of 2020! To be honest I was looking forward to this week to get back on schedule. There was just something about having two back to back mid-week holidays that made me feel so unproductive. I’m ready for a fresh start!
