We spent the weekend in Arizona for my brother and sister-in-law’s vowel renewal ceremony. Such a beautiful weekend… and the weather was pretty perfect too. Sunny and warm without being hot, April is the time to visit Arizona!
I knew I wanted to photograph this dress in the desert but it’s a little too close to white/off white/cream to wear to a wedding event. So before the ceremony I threw it on and off we went to shoot it. I don’t typically love shooting mid-day but this setting was so pretty it ended up working out.
And now I need an excuse to wear this dress because I’m obsessed with it. Maybe Mother’s Day?
PS – we took the photos in front of the bougainvillea on someone’s driveway! If they would have come out I would have died. But we drove by and I was in awe and forced Jeff to get out and shoot there. It was so pretty, serious driveway goals.
