Emerald Velvet Top

Over the weekend Jeff and I hopped over to Las Vegas for a quick pre-babymoon, if that even exists. I know Vegas doesn’t sound like the most conventional place for a pregnant girl but we made sure it was pregnancy friendly. We were hosted by The Aria and were welcomed with a spacious room and relatively smoke-free casino and really enjoyed our stay. We also loved that the hotel was connected to The Shops at Crystals and had fun shopping there.

Now let’s talk about what I’m wearing. This top was a last-minute buy before the trip, I love how festive the emerald crushed velvet is and it was perfect for highlighting the bump – which only seemed to grow with all the food I was eating on the trip. I’m 24 weeks now and definitely feeling pregnant… I did not last very long in these heels and was so glad I brought booties to change into before dinner.

This was the perfect outfit for a night out to what was definitely a highlight of the trip. Jeff had heard about Absinthe, an outrageous show in a big circus tent at Caesars Palace. The performers were insanely talented gymnasts, acrobats, and tight-rope walkers, and the story line of the show was hilarious. I recommend this to anyone looking to see a show in Vegas… just leave your inhibitions and sensitivity at the door!
