I’ve been getting a lot of emails recently asking me questions. I thought I’d start a new feature where I answer some of them.
Katie writes: “I need an outfit for a baby shower and a wedding the same day in April. I live in Austin, TX so weather is no concern but I won’t have time to change between the two and need something that will work for both.”
I love a challenge! Because both events are in the spring and cheerful I think it’s important to go with a dress that’s a fun color and can easily go from day to night. I know you said you have no time to change but you must change up your accessories. Go with bolder colors during the day and swap them for glam pieces for the wedding. I would also wear a blazer or cardigan to the shower and remove it later. And don’t forget to change your shoes! Stick with ballet flats or sandals in the day and put on some pretty heels for the evening.
