I am so happy to be guest posting for ASH ‘N’ FASHN. Ashley’s blog is one of my daily reads so it’s definitely exciting to be sharing some of my favorite fall trends with her readers! Fall is truly my favorite season for clothes. Sweaters, layering, leopard, black everything, boots and hats- I just can’t get enough. Here are some of my favorite trends for this fall, the possibilities are endless.
Navy: This one is a no-brainer, and the good news is you probably already have it in your closet. Navy is one of my favorite colors because it looks good on everyone and it’s a great alternative to black (I also love wearing it with black). Try a navy blazer for a polished look or a striped dress for a laid-back preppy style and add a pop of neon or metallic-navy and gold is one of my favorite combinations.
Leopard: Leopard is the new neutral. There are so many ways to rock leopard, from pumps to accessories like a scarf or a clutch. I wear my leopard pumps with everything from my black skinny jeans to my houndstooth mini (another fall trend). If you are looking to try mixing prints leopard pumps are a great way to do it.
Leather (or faux leather): I admit I am actually still in the market for the perfect leather jacket. I just haven’t found the one yet. In the meantime, I have found plenty of ways to rock the trend. I love this faux leather bomber jacket I found at TJ Maxx for under $25. There are tons of vegan leather options out there too (this neon bag is vegan and was under $20!). Don’t be afraid to think outside the box, I’ve seen leather baseball hats, A-line leather skirts, and leather tee shirts- there are plenty of ways to wear it to showcase your personal style.
