It’s that time of year… the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. Whether you love shopping it or hate hearing about it, there are always great deals included in the sale. But it can be extremely overwhelming combing through the thousands of items listed. Today I wanted to post about all my tried and true items that are all on sale and likely to sell out fast. Most of these items I’ve had and loved for years and stand behind 100%.
Before I get into them, here’s how the sale is working this year…
The sale opens to the public August 19, if you have a Nordstrom card you can shop earlier depending on your card status:
Fashion:
Spanx leggings – mark my words, these will go fast! They’re a major wardrobe staple for me. When it’s colder I wear them at least once a week. They’re high wasted and really flattering. Available in regular and petite (I wear the petite).
**also included in the sale: Free People lace bralette & Adidas
Barefoot Dreams Circle Cardigan (other barefoot dreams cardigans) – another major wardrobe staple of mine. If you’re not familiar with this brand they make the coziest blankets, robes, cardigans, lounge wear and baby blankets. I wear this cardigan both out and around the house.
** also wearing the Free People jeans, Brixton hat (in another color).
Free People jeans (also pictured above) – I’ve loved and worn these jeans for years now. This photo is from 2017! I think this darker wash is perfect for fall and winter. They’re also available in black and run true to size.
Ray-Ban Hexigonal sunglasses – Jeff got me a pair of these sunglasses for Mother’s Day a few years ago and loved them so much he got them for himself too. They’re the perfect everyday sunglasses… completely unisex too.
Brixton hat – this is the perfect wide brim, structured straw hat. Its comes in a few colors and sizes (key for someone like me who has a small head). Great price point!
Gorjana crescent necklace – I’ve had this necklace for at least 4 years and continue to wear it. When I want a long necklace this is the one I always reach for. It comes in both silver and gold.
Pajama Set – I have this set in black and wore it in the hospital when I gave birth to both kids. It’s incredibly soft and well made. It’s lasted me several seasons.
Baby:
Uppababy Vista – hands down the best stroller out there and really the only stroller you will ever need. This one comes with the bassinet for the sleepy newborn days when you want to stroll around your neighborhood. I’ve had this stroller since before Crosby was born and continue to use it daily with both kids. It truly grows with your family and could not be easier to use/collapse.
Thule Jogging Stroller – another longtime favorite. We’ve had this stroller since Crosby was a baby, it’s great for jogs (Jeff’s used it more for that than I have), hikes and can even handle being pushed on the sand. It also comes in a double – I wish we had that one!
Nuna Rava convertible car seat – the convertible car seat we’ve used with Crosby for 2 years and recently started using with Wilder. It’s extremely safe and comfortable.
Stokke Tripp Trapp high chair – we researched high chairs front to back while we were pregnant with Crosby and this one was the clear winner. I’ve used it for 3 years now and continue to be impressed. It’s really durable and easy to clean – plus it can grow with your child and become a chair for the toddler days when they don’t need a high chair anymore.
Beauty:
t3 curling iron – what I use to get my weekly waves. t3 makes the best hair tools and this iron is worth every penny.
** Also included is the t3 blow dryer.
La Mer set – La Mer is a huge beauty splurge and their products basically never go on sale. I love this set to try out some of my favorite products.
Tula set– it’s no secret I’m a big fan of Tula products. This set has a bunch of my favorites; eye balm, cleanser, exfoliator, primer and is such a great deal.
Laura Mercier eye shadow sticks – I received these in a press package at the beginning of the year and was a little intimidated by them at first. But then I used them and fell in love. They’re really subtle but buildable and are my favorite way to add a little shimmer to my eyes without much effort.
