Happy Monday! Today is the first day in over seven months that I’ve made the commute to LA to return to work. If you didn’t know, up until February I worked full time as a wardrobe stylist with the TV show Access Hollywood. I left about a month before Crosby was born and have been busy with her and the blog ever since. I’m only going back part time, but I know it will be an adjustment so bear with me in the mean time. 🙂
On that note, I’d also love to hear from other mamas who have gone back to work after baby. Did anything the transition easier? I plan to post more about this once I get the hang of things.
Should we talk about my outfit? I guess we should since I posted so many pics of it. HA! This top is fun – it has a built in choker that I didn’t think I was edgy enough to pull off when I first saw it. It also comes in a pretty berry color but I felt like I should play it safe with white and I’m loving it! I mean, white OTS tops are no stranger to my closet but I’m liking that this one is different. It’s also a bit longer in the back and perfect to pair with jeans or even shorts if you want a top with a little more coverage.
I feel like with denim trends right now distressed and raw is everywhere. This pair has that uneven hem that is effortless and makes me feel cooler than I am. I’ve worn them with flats (seen here), but because they’re cropped and wider at the ankle I think heels are more flattering to pair with them. This pair is the perfect height for me right now and comes in three other colors at under $50.
