As a mom of two toddlers in 2020 it’s so hard to stay organized with everything. Some days I feel like I have it all together. I get up early to get ready and drink coffee before the kids get up, breakfast goes smoothly, we head out on an outing in the morning and seamlessly make it to nap time. Other days (these seem to happen more often) I feel like I’m constantly trying to play catch up. Re-heating my coffee a few times, cleaning up constant messes, not making it out of my pjs before noon and realizing I we’re out of diapers/laundry detergent/sunblock/wipes, etc even though I just went shopping the day before.
On those days the last thing I want to do is load up both kids (most likely at nap time) to head to the store and tackle our list. That’s where Walmart’s new Walmart+ membership comes in and saves me.
Walmart+ is a brand new membership that has free unlimited delivery (your order must be at least $35 and some restrictions may apply) for groceries and other products that can be delivered as soon as same day. The service is $98 a year or $12.95 a month and basically pays for itself in just two deliveries if you base that on a $7.95 delivery fee. I’ve had diapers delivered to my door in 2 hours without having to take the kids to the store to pick them up. That itself is worth it to me.
I always love to see what people are currently buying so here’s what’s in my Walmart cart right now: paper towels, bandaids, baby lotion, trash bags, overnight diapers for Wilder, detangler for Crosby and socks for Wilder. I love that they’ll probably be delivered before you even read this post.
In the event that I do need to go into Walmart, I am able to access their mobile scan & go feature which allows me to check out as I go so I’m able to spend less time in the store. Bonus, it prevents additional contact with others with is such a big deal right now.
Another benefit is member prices on fuel. You can save 5 cents a gallon at nearly 1,500 Walmart & Murphy USA Express fuel stations.
The program offers different benefits based on zip codes and they offer a free 15 day trial so you can test drive it before you commit to the membership. You can get more information about Walmart+ here.
The bottom line is it’s a membership I’ve grown to love in the short time I’ve been a member and know I will continue to appreciate and use down the road.
Thank you to Walmart for sponsoring this post.
