I’ve been finding more cute things for Crosby lately than myself… I guess that’s how motherhood goes! Between swimsuits and sundresses she’s pretty set for summer. Although the way she changes clothes (multiple outfits a day) who knows how long she’s really set for. I wanted to share some of the cute things I’ve found for her lately.
While on one of my trips to Target last week I came across the cutest matching sweaters for me and Crosby. They come in four different color combs and I picked the one I thought she’d like the best. Once I got home and looked online I saw they were also available in little girls sizes and there was even an adorable matching romper for babies in one of the color combos.
I did even more digging and found a matching dog sweater AND dad and boys matching options too. Sadly the colors are not the same in the men’s but it’s a really cute option for dads and little boys.
Linking them all here –
Last weekend we had our first batch of actual cold weather. We spent the majority of the time inside but Sunday afternoon after naps we decided to head out on a short walk and we really bundled up. Luckily the kids both had semi-appropriate clothing but this also forced me to go through our closets to purge what no longer fits and figure out what gaps we need to fill before it gets colder.
Crosby and I also never miss an opportunity to twin so I was even more excited that we had similar cozy pieces.
I bought these beanies for us over three years ago when she was just six months old. I purchased my first set in pink and then went back for the off white because I loved them so much. They’re only $13 and come in a few other colors too and are perfect for the winter/holidays. We’ve worn them a bunch since then… last year Crosby wouldn’t keep a hat on so Wilder got to wear them too. I even bought a second set but guess who doesn’t want to wear a hat this year?
Crosby’s jacket is from last year and is getting a little small. I’m currently eying this one that looks so cute and cozy. It’s more than I typically like to spend on her clothes, but I think if I size up she’ll probably be able to get two seasons of wear out of it.
I bought my coat on Amazon two years ago after seeing it on a few friends. It’s such a good buy; under $40, cozy and slightly oversized. I wore it all through my pregnancy with Wilder and still had room. It’s definitely the coat I reach for most when it’s cold.
I can’t believe the year is halfway over! June seemed to fly by even fast than the past few months. June’s top sellers were clothing, baby products and baby clothes – no home items I think for the first time.
Let’s get to it!
For the second month in a row this was my top seller. It’s still my most worn top (I have it in 3 colors). It sells out often but they’ve restocked it a few times so keep checking if you want to snag one.
We’ve had Crosby in this convertible car seat for almost two years and just graduated Wilder to it as well. It’s really well made, comfortable and easy to get them in and out of. I have them both rear facing and sitting side by side.
I love these sandals! They’re so fun for summer and seem to go with everything. I have them in clear but they come in a few other colors and are pretty comfortable.
I bought these in the middle of June and have worn them several times already. They’re an excellent price point (currently on sale!), high-waisted, comfortable and come in a few other colors too. I was on a quest to find some everyday shorts that were different from my denim cutoffs and have been so happy with these.
I bought this for Wilder to wear on the 4th of July (with this matching dress for Crosby) and shared on my IG stories. It was a big hit and pretty much sold out. I can’t resist matching outfits for siblings – and will take advantage of it until they won’t do it anymore.
Hope you had a safe and happy 4th of July – thank you so much for reading and following!
At this point in quarantine the highlight of our days has been time spent outside. The kids and I (and sometimes Jeff) have been taking two long walks around the neighborhood every day and spending as much time playing in the back yard as possible. I feel especially fortunate to have a backyard right now. It really makes the days go by faster and has been so much fun. This week we’re having back to back rain storms and are pretty cooped up inside. We decided it was time to finally get Crosby some toddler rain gear.
We went with yellow because it’s so classic and Wilder will be able to wear them when Crosby outgrows them. Toddler rain boots and raincoats are cute but nothing is as cute as them actually dressed in them. She looks like the Gordon’s fisherman! Crosby is still undecided on if she actually likes getting wet, but she does seem to love “jumping” in puddles after the rain stops.
kind of really challenging bringing both kids out in the rain alone, since Wilder is so young and not walking yet, but we’re trying not to let that slow us down. This morning I put him in a jacket and put him in this carrier. So far it’s been the best solution. Fingers crossed we get a break in storms and can go out for a long walk later… if not we’ll be puddle splashing and dodging rain drops as best as we can.
Thank you so much for reading and following. Hope you’re staying home and staying healthy!
Eleven months! One more month until Wilder is one, I just can’t believe it. His face is basically how I feel about him almost being a toddler. I just want to keep him a baby forever. He’s had a pretty busy month… his top 4 teeth popped through, speed crawls all through the house and pulls himself up on anything and everything.
I’ve been buying him some spring clothes I wanted to share. I think little boys look so cute in basics… henley’s, t-shirts, etc so that’s what I’ve been buying! They’re comfy and perfect for play.
These henley’s from H&M, they come in a 2 pack. The quality is great and they run a little big.
Also love these shorts from H&M and think we need at least one more color. They also run big, I went down a size and think they’ll fit for at least a few months. They even have an adjustable waistband.
Target has really good basic t-shirts right now. I bought this one, this one, this one and this one all in 12 month size. This one is super cute too. They’re a little big now but should fit for awhile.
I also picked up these shorts at Target, they’re similar to the H&M pair but you can never have enough basics.
We spend a lot of time outside and I like to keep a hat on his head as much as possible. This one is so cute and goes with most of his clothes.
He’s had this jacket since he was born but has outgrown it… I love it so much I got it in a bigger size so he can continue to twin with me and Crosby.
Hope you have a great day – thank you so much for reading and following!
