Another look from last week in Big Bear! I was so happy to finally have a place to wear this fuzzy faux fur coat from BB Dakota. It came in the mail a few weeks ago and I knew I’d be bringing it on our trip. It’s so cozy and the color is really beautiful. I can’t wait to wear it more this winter.

I’ve always been a sucker for a white top. They’re so versatile and can be worn year round. This one feels extra special because it has little bits of metallic woven into it. I can easily see it worn around the holidays with darker denim and boots… and then again in the summer months with shorts and sandals.

I wanted to do a quick post today to share some of my recent outfits. I’m kind of starting to dress more for fall and that’s reflected mostly by the colors I’ve been wearing. Darker hues with some pops. I’m loving mustard or marigold… whatever you want to call it.

The calendar says it’s officially fall and I’m celebrating with a new leopard cardigan. I love leopard all year round, but think it’s especially perfect for fall. It’s basically a neutral that can be worn with so many colors.

Another weekend that went by way too fast. We didn’t have any plans this weekend so it was nice to relax and catch up with stuff at home. Still not feeling ready for Monday! I’m test driving the belt bag trend today and I have to tell you, I already love it. I went with this really affordable black quilted belt bag… and of course, after I purchased it, it went on major sale.

Another day, another mommy and me matching look! I can’t get enough of these and am taking full advantage of twinning with Crosby while she has no clue. I know in a few years she will probably want nothing to do with this and want to wear princess dresses and ugly stuff from Justice. Am I right?

After our day of wine tasting last Thursday we checked in to our hotel to freshen up before the wedding weekend events officially kicked off. I was packed pretty lightly for this trip, fitting everything into a carry on. But I still managed to bring two options for the Thursday night welcome dinner. This striped midi dress was the option I didn’t end up wearing because it was just too hot.

I’ve always loved a sleeveless sweater and think they can be some of the most practical tops in my closet. Even though they’re sleeveless they’re a bit thicker and are really easy to layer over. Perfect for chillier months and still fine in the summer with bare arms.
