I’m a sucker for a brightly colored wall, so when I spotted this one out of the corner of my eye while driving home from Trader Joes awhile back I made a mental note to bring Jeff back here to shoot an outfit. Luckily a month of so later I finally remembered. There are some parts of blogging that seem really strange to other people. Like stopping in a random neighborhood on a Saturday morning and posing in front of a strangers fence while people drive by. But over time you kind of learn to roll with the punches.
How crazy is it that the year is half way over and we’re already in July?! Summer has always been my favorite season to dress for. I love cutoffs, rompers, sundresses and swimsuits and haven’t really been wearing much else lately. Here’s a little roundup from looks I shared on instagram in June and the beginning of July.
Happy Monday! Did that weekend go by too fast for anyone else? I thought it was time to share an instagram update. I’ve been posting a lot over there lately. Make sure you’re following along over there to stay on top of things. 🙂
A high-waisted skirt paired with a crop top is an easy outfit that always make me feel pulled together. There’s just something so lady-like about skirts like this one and love how I feel like I’m playing dress up, but as an adult!
I went a little nautical here with this red bag and Hermes scarf that I’ve had for years. I actually got at a vintage store shortly after I graduated college and moved to LA. I felt like I found gold and bought it and have treasured it since.
j. crew hat (old // similar), karen walker sunglasses, topshop top (in black, longer version version), chicwish skirt c/o, banana republic bag c/o, vintage scarf (similar), h&m necklace, steve madden heels
Thanks for stopping by – enjoy your day!
Off-the-shoulder tops and dresses are everywhere right now and I’m loving them! They’re the perfect trend to take you though spring and summer because they’re so versatile. You can wear them just as much now as you can when the weather heats up and style them so many different ways!
These fringe heels have been a staple in my wardrobe since last fall. I even have a pair in nude. But I’m crushing on flat fringe sandals…. this pair is a great neutral, this pair is so fun and I love the mixed metallics in this pair.
Happy Thursday – thanks for reading!
