Tis the week, or season, for sales! I know typically you think of Black Friday as the kickoff for “cyber week,” but it seems like lots of retailers start their sales early. One of my favorite places to shop online is Shopbop and today they started their “Buy More Save More Sale.” I wanted to share my favorite pieces I own and love that are included.

We did it! We moved Crosby into her new bedroom over the weekend… so far, so good… or about as good as can be expected while she’s teething and going through a sleep regression. No one is getting a full night’s rest around here these days. Now that we have less than seven weeks until baby boy is due, it’s crunch time to get the nursery ready. I wore this outfit on Sunday when we officially made the room switch, snapped a mirror selfie and got so many questions about where my overalls and other pieces were from, I knew I had to shoot it for a blog post.

The sun is finally shining but we’re still bundled up over here. It seems like it’s been the longest and most real winter we’ve ever had. Our winter clothes are getting a lot of use! I wore this faux fur BB Dakota coat all weekend… even around the house. It’s been a favorite for months, but I’m looking forward to swapping it out for something a lot lighter… soon. We cannot wait for warm weather!

Over the weekend I was feeling so blah and uninspired with the current rotation of things that fit me. I decided to shop my closet, if you will, and put together this look with pieces that are all a couple of years old. Sometimes I think I have these pregnancy wardrobe delusions where I put something on thinking it will still fit the way it did a few months/weeks/days ago and then get frustrated when that’s not the case. So I went back to some old faithfuls that worked my first pregnancy and was happy and comfortable all day.

It’s been raining allllll week long, but fingers crossed today is the last of it. I’ve been checking the weather forecast religiously and Saturday it’s supposed to be 70 degrees and sunny… I can’t wait! Crosby and I may have to break out our bikinis. Do you know how hard it is to keep a toddler entertained inside all day without losing your mind?

This has been the most consistently cold winter I can remember. I know we have it pretty easy in Southern California and I’m not dealing with snow or ice BUT I have needed a coat more days that not in the last month, if that tells you anything. This spotted moto coat from LOFT made its way into my closet and I’m loving it. It makes a subtle statement and can easily be dressed up or down.

This year I wanted to make a list of resolutions based off areas I think I slacked in last year. I really want to make the most of the next three months before baby boy is born and completely rocks my world. After April these might all go out the window, but I want to at least start strong.

Another cozy sweater look coming your way. I’ve worn this heart sweater from Madewell so many times since I got it just a couple weeks ago. I was worried it wouldn’t fit right with the bump but I went up a size and it’s perfect.

What day is it? Is anyone else in a post-Christmas fog? The days between Christmas and New Years always seem to blend into a weird haze and I never really know what to do with myself. This year I’m being lazy and productive… the best of both worlds. Jeff’s been cleaning out the garage and once he finishes that we’ll be tackling the guest room. But let’s move on to what I’m wearing.

My go-to outfit lately has been a sweater and jeans. It keeps me warm and it’s comfortable enough to work with my bump at the stage I’m in right now. I’ve been loving Madewell’s sweater selection this winter. This one is especially fun with the striped balloon sleeves. It has a slight boxy fit and I went one size up to make it work with my bump.
