Crosby Brave is nine months as of yesterday – crazy that in just three months we’ll be celebrating her first Birthday! I guess it’s time to start planning her party. This past month we’ve really seen her personality come out more and she started saying a couple of words. Dada and mama! She said dada first but says mama a lot more, so we’ll call that a tie.
She has so much energy and would probably be happy crawling around the house all day. She also loves to pull herself up on just about everything and walks around tables and things while holding on. Every once in a while she’ll let go and can stand on her own for a few seconds. We might have a walker here soon.
She just had her 9 month check up and weighs about 15 pounds – which is still in the 5th percentile for weight. Luckily she’s fitting into most of her 3-6 month clothes now. Such a peanut.
– Monthly favorites –

Happy Apple – this Crosby’s current favorite toy. She loves to take the slices out and suck on them, throw them and chase them around her room.
Matching beanies – I found these on amazon and they were too good to pass up. We have them in pink and ivory and love wearing them!
Aquafor Baby – our weather has been really dry lately and she’s gotten some dry patches on her face. Our doctor told us to keep applying aquafor so we’ve been using this multiple times a day.
Freshly Picked moccasins – she’s been wearing these since she was in newborn sizes and I’ve always loved how comfortable they seem and how well they stay on. However, now that she’s pulling herself up to stand I love that they seem to have good traction. I actually got to meet the company at their Disney launch event last weekend and they’re just as sweet in person. I love meeting brands I love face-to-face.
Birdie – I’ve raved about this little gem countless times but it’s a diaper bag staple… especially in the winter. I use it to wipe down shopping carts, high chairs, teethers, toys, you name it. It’s super cute too, which is the icing on the cake.
Bamboo Nature Diapers – another product I’ve babbled on and on about, but I can’t imagine using any other diapers. Their skin care line is amazing too!
Halo Sleep Sack – now that it’s cool at night this is the perfect layer to go over her pj’s. It’s fleece and cozy for her.
Uppababy Vista – I really think this is the best stroller on the market. It’s really user-friendly, light weight, looks chic and it’s easy! Now that she’s bigger Crosby loves sitting in the toddler seat.
Happy Friday – thanks for reading!
