While on one of my trips to Target last week I came across the cutest matching sweaters for me and Crosby. They come in four different color combs and I picked the one I thought she’d like the best. Once I got home and looked online I saw they were also available in little girls sizes and there was even an adorable matching romper for babies in one of the color combos.

Last weekend we had our first batch of actual cold weather. We spent the majority of the time inside but Sunday afternoon after naps we decided to head out on a short walk and we really bundled up. Luckily the kids both had semi appropriate clothing but this also forced me to go through our closets to purge what no longer fits and figure out what gaps we need to fill before it gets colder.

Spending all this time at home with toddlers can be a challenge. On one hand it’s nice because we can stay on a great napping/sleeping schedule, but the days can definitely drag on. I want to share some of my favorite toys and activities for keeping them busy and tantrum free… for at least two minutes anyway.

A few weeks ago I was searching for something on amazon and came across the most adorable sweatshirt for Crosby. It’s only $14 so I had no idea what the quality would be like but was pleasantly surprised when it came in the mail. I had just received this thermal top and knew they’d but cute to wear together. Coordinating without being too matchy matchy.

Our Christmas tree has been up for a few weeks already, but that didn’t stop us from making our annual trip to the tree lot. And of course, we had to dress the part. I bought these beanies when Crosby was a baby and purchased a second set this year so she could still match us. Guess who didn’t want to wear hers? Ha! At least Wilder is still willing to match with me.

Over the weekend Crosby turned two and a half and we celebrated with donuts and coffee at the beach. Does anyone else celebrate half birthdays? She’s obsessed with birthdays right now but doesn’t quite get what a half birthday is. Ha!

I can never pass up a mommy and me matching moment and had some fun with these leopard looks. I love leopard all year round, but think it’s also great to start to transition to fall. It will still be warm here the next few months but I start incorporating darker colors and different prints into our wardrobe this time of year to ease our way into fall.

Happy Memorial Day! The sun is finally out and we’re spending the day outside. It might not be super warm but that’s not going to stop us. Last year Crosby and I wore the blue version of these cute Peixoto pom pom coverups in Palm Springs. We were so excited for a new set this year… I’m still going strong with anything “mommy and me” matching.

Finally… some beautiful spring weather to dress for and enjoy! We had so much fun taking advantage of it over the weekend. I was happy I got to wear my pregnancy uniform of body con dresses and that Crosby got to wear some of her cute new spring outfits she got for her Birthday!
