Best Cyber Monday Deals

December 2, 2019 by ashadmin No Comments

Hope your weekend was as relaxing and overindulgent as mine. Yesterday Jeff made me and Crosby Belgian waffles with coconuts and chocolate chips and a banana syrup, if that tells you anything. It’s honestly a miracle my pants will button. For Cyber Monday I want to share deals on some of my favorite items, hint my Uppababy stroller is on sale!

Did that get your attention? You can get $100 in rewards when you buy this stroller, or anything $300 or over on right now at Buy Buy Baby. These strollers almost never go on sale so it’s a great time to buy one… or another big ticket baby item on your list.

I have this Babyletto Crib (currently using it as a toddler bed) for Crosby and this one for Wilder.

Other amazing sales & deals

Abercrombie & Fitch has everything 50% off! They have some really cozy looking coats and I’m loving this puff-sleeve sweatshirt.

Aerie has all sweatshirts and leggings 50% off. I have this sweatshirt and couldn’t love it more. It’s a slightly oversized fit and so comfy.

Old Navy is also 50% off everything. One of my favorite places to shop for babies and toddlers.

GAP is also 50% off everything. Another one of my go-to’s for the kids.

Freshly Picked is still 30% off everything and 50% off if you sign up for their membership program (first month is free and you can cancel at any time) with code FPxAshnfashn

Elemis makes some of my absolute favorite skincare items like this cleansing balm, marine cream and oil. Everything is 30% off with code CYBER19

Crate & Barrel is 20-30% off site wide. My favorite wine glasses, soup and sandwich plates and the waffle maker I mentioned are all from Crate & Barrel.

Serena & Lily has 25% off everything. One of my favorite things in our living room is this rattan hanging chair.

Minted has a great sale going on right now. I’ll definitely be taking advantage of it today and ordering our holiday cards.

Tula is another skincare favorite of mine. I live for this eye balm, cleanser and primer. This kit has all three + more and is such an amazing deal!

Boho Baby Boy Nursery

June 7, 2019 by ashadmin 4 Comments

Today I’m sharing photos of Wilder’s nursery. You may remember me talking about the whole process… we moved Crosby out of this room into her new room a couple months before Wilder was born so Wilder could be in the room closest to ours. It was such a fun room to put together, after we were done I told Jeff designing kids rooms was my favorite thing to do. We partnered with Minted for the wallpaper and wall art. I wasn’t sure how I’d like the wallpaper but I am obsessed. It is such a fun statement and adds so much to the room. Everything else kind of just fell into place and I’m so happy with the way it came out. I’m also happy we were able to document the room and don’t know if it will ever be this clean again! I linked as much as I could at the bottom of this post.

Baby Boy Nursery Update

March 22, 2019 by ashadmin No Comments

We have been jamming in the nursery the past few weeks and made major progress! Once we moved Crosby into her new room we really got to work. We’re just waiting on a few items that were back orderd until we’re completely finished. Here’s what we’ve done…

Mud Cloth Wall Mural: I partnered with Minted on a few pieces for the room. One was this cool mud cloth wall mural for an accent wall behind the crib. It comes in strips and just sticks to the wall. Jeff and his dad spent a few hours installing it one day. We love the way it turned out!

Joshua Tree Art: Another piece from minted is this large framed art of Joshua Tree. It brings a lot of life into the space and I love that it’s something he can grow into and will never feel baby-ish.

Crib: We’re big fans of Babyletto cribs and this is the one we decided on. I wanted something different from what we have for Crosby (since she’s still in a crib) and love the way this light wood looks in his room.

Mobile: I ordered this mobile from Etsy a few months back. Love how the wood and feathers look in the room.

Cactus Hamper: This hamper was a hot item! Every time I shared it on IG stories it sold out, but Pottery Barn kept bringing it back. If you want it, I would suggest checking every few days to see if it’s re-stocked. Once they re-stock they go fast!

Mattress: We went with the same mattress we had for Crosby, this one from Nook Sleep. It’s highly rated, breathable and so comfortable. Crosby has loved it and we hope baby boy does too.

We already had this rocker, pouf, side table, changing table (with new leather pulls) and shelf

We’re waiting on our new rug and changing pad and still need new curtains. Other than that we’re done and it’s really coming together!

Baby Boy Nursery

January 23, 2019 by ashadmin No Comments

Ever since my last post about baby boy, I’ve stepped it up and started getting the nursery plans in order. I wanted to do a post about what we’re getting and what we’re loving for his nursery.

Crib:

I LOVE Babyletto’s cribs. We have this one for Crosby and it’s the best. I’m planning to keep her in it as long as possible. I would get the same one but I want to change it up. Originally I liked this crib best… but I got over it because I was seeing it EVERYWHERE. It seems like everyone who is pregnant/just had a baby had it. Jeff and I looked at a bunch online and came out with two front runners; this one and this one. Eventually I convinced him we should get my favorite one, so we’ll be getting this one.

Rug:

We have wood floors throughout our house so rugs in bedrooms are necessary. I want a black and white one for baby boy and think I finally have it narrowed down to two: this one and this one.

Art:

I’m loving this print for over the crib and already purchased this one for over his changing table. Next up is to decide what color frame to do… white, black, or light wood?

Changing table:

I’m pretty sure we’re going to keep Crosby’s current dresser/changing table in the room and get her a bigger one. I want to switch out the knobs to leather ones like these, it will match the ottoman that’s also staying in the room.

Misc Decor:

Some other things I’m loving and buying to tie the room together are this mobile, this blanket, and this hamper (sadly no longer available), but I’m also loving this set for a similar vibe.

I guess the theme is boho desert… but I really wanted some neutral pieces that will last awhile and won’t look too babyish down the road.

Thanks for reading and following!

Baby Boy Style & Nursery Inspo

January 7, 2019 by ashadmin 2 Comments

babe denim jacket, rust mocs c/o, gray mocs c/o, faux sheepskin rug, pouf, rug, my slippers, pants

I can’t believe I only have 14 weeks left of this pregnancy! Especially when I think of the list of things I still have to do… basically everything. I always heard things were more relaxed the second time around and that’s really holding true for us. By this point in my pregnancy with Crosby her room was almost finished. Definitely not the case this time around.

I get a lot of questions about going from a girl to boy and how he’ll be styled. We’ve started to buy a few things (so have our moms), but haven’t gone too crazy yet. Now that I’ve had a baby I know what kinds of things you really need at the beginning. I’ve been buying mostly pajamas and am really drawn to neutral colors and blacks and whites. After I took this photo I realized I need to start buying him some hats. I just added this one and this one to my amazon cart.

As far as the nursery goes, it’s kind of a shuffle. We are moving Crosby into our guest room and making her room the nursery. We’re doing this switch because it’s the closest to our room and makes sense for the baby to be the one sharing a wall with us. Before we can start on his room we have to completely clear out the guest room and move Crosby’s things into it. It sounds really daunting to me right now but it’s probably something we’ll be able to tackle it in a weekend. We gave ourselves a deadline of the end of January for this move. We want Crosby to get settled and adjusted in her new room long before baby arrives so she doesn’t associate it with him. I know he won’t be sleeping in his nursery for at least a few months after he’s born but I want it to be done before he’s here.

Nursery Inspiration:

I’m currently on the lookout for a black and white rug for the room. I’m pretty set on this crib. Already bought this lion cub print and am wanting a desert scape like this one for over the crib. I’m also searching for a light wood mobile for over the crib. We’re keeping the rocker and pouf we used with Crosby in the room.

So there’s a little update that makes me excited and gives me anxiety for everything that we have to do. Happy Monday!
