If you can’t tell from these photos, it’s getting harder and harder to take pictures with a toddler. Crosby would much rather be running around than stay still for a photo. But we still try. Sunday we put on some pretty dresses, did our hair (how cute are her pig tails?!) and headed out to shoot these. I think they may be some of my favorites because she was so in her natural element…. which is non-stop.
I darkened my hair a little over the weekend. Right now it seems dark (for me), but I think it will lighten up a bit when I wash it a few times. Speaking of hair, Crosby’s is getting SO long. It’s still kind of mullet-y but I’ve been trying new hairstyles to switch up her everyday palm tree look. The pig tails are my favorite, but she looks so grown up. She’s 17 months old today and I can’t believe she’ll be one and a half in a month! I swear it was just her first Birthday.
I got this dress in the mail last week and couldn’t wait to wear it. I think the colors actually make it the perfect transition to fall and still perfect for the end of summer. It’s a wrap dress so it’s really flattering and I love the ruffle details.
Crosby’s dress is from spring but might still be available in some sizes. She’s still really petite and is wearing a 6-9 month size. But now that I’m looking at these pics I see it’s getting a little short, she seems a lot taller all of a sudden.
