My clothing purchases over the last 10+ months have heavily leaned toward comfort and practicality. I’ve bought a lot less fancy things like dresses, heels and accessories and a lot more wardrobe basics and loungewear. I’m also embracing wearing my loungewear out in public… or as public as I go these days (the grocery store) and don’t see that changing any time soon. Today I want to share the 10 lounge/pajama sets I’ve been loving.

5 Ways to Wear – Amazon Teddy Coat
TGIF! It’s back to winter here which made it the perfect week to style my favorite teddy coat 5 different ways. In case you missed it I started a new series this month where I choose a few wardrobe staples and style them each 5 different ways. I got this sherpa jacket a couple years ago after seeing it on a friend. I could not believe it was an amazon find – and it’s only $34! It quickly became one of my favorite jackets and I’ve worn it so much in the past two years… through my pregnancy with Wilder, casually on walks around the neighborhood and to the park, but it’s also chic with leggings and boots for a slightly more elevated look.

3 Anything But Basic Sweaters
Last week we had a little heatwave and it felt like spring/summer for a hot minute. It was just a quick tease and we’re back to winter now… it’s cold, cloudy, windy and we’re expecting rain soon. It’s usually around this time I start getting a little bored with the repetition of my wardrobe and look for ways to easily switch it up. Today I want to share 2 fun cardigans and a really comfy pullover that will pull you out of your winter wardrobe funk.

Old Navy Joggers 5 Ways
Happy Friday! We’re currently experiencing a little heatwave (it’s supposed to be 80 degrees today) so I’m excited for a weekend spent outside. This week I styled the Old Navy joggers from my monthly staples five different ways. Truthfully it was a little warm to wear them much outside of the house so most of the looks are centered around comfort. Hope you have a great weekend!

2020 Top 5
Usually January drags on – after the busy holiday season it just seems endless, but this year it doesn’t seem that slow. I’m thinking that’s because life has pretty much been the same for the past 10 months. There are certain things I like to do for work at the beginning of the year and one of them is going through my analytics from the past year to see what performed the best. Much like I do monthly when I share my best sellers. So today I’m rounding up my top 5 best sellers from all of 2020.

Madewell York Half-Zip Sweater Styled 5 Ways
I’m so excited to kick off my first week of my new monthly staple series. This is something I’ve been wanting to start for awhile but decided to wait until the new year to really dive in. Each week I will choose one of my monthly staples to style five ways. First up is the Madewell York Half-Zip Sweater. I love this sweater, it’s such a great wardrobe staple for winter. It comes in two other colors (gray and amber) and I honestly think they’re all equally versatile. I went with the blush because not only do I love the color, but I thought it would be fun to style with so much – winter whites, blacks, jeans, etc.

January Wardrobe Staples
2020 was the year that really changed the way I shop. Instead of buying trendy stand out pieces I’ve gone back to basics and curated a wardrobe of staples that I reach for over and over again. I found the holes in my closet and filled them with what I know I need and will wear. A lot of last year was spent in leggings and lounge wear, but I found just by having the right items getting dressed was fun. This year is starting out the same – meaning I’m not shopping for dresses, heels, or statement-y pieces. Which is why I wanted to start this series sharing staples I’ve chosen for the month and plan to style multiple ways.

Hello 2021
similar bodysuit, joggers, slippers, wine glasses
Hello 2021! I hope you all had a wonderful holiday season despite how different things may have been. I did not set out to take a 2+ week break from blogging, it just kind of happened that way. Now that we’re in the new year I’m planning on getting back to a regular schedule here. I’ve been blogging for almost 9 years now and want to bring back a lot of focus here in the new year.

Last Minute Toddler & Baby Stocking Stuffers
We are officially 9 days away from Christmas (how??) and hopefully most of your shopping is done. I know I’m still thinking of little things here and there. Today I wanted to talk about stocking stuffer ideas for toddlers and babies. Let’s be real, the last thing mom’s want are more tiny toys/pieces/parts anything that will just end up in the trash. I put together a list of things I’m planning to put in my kids stockings if you’re at a loss. Everything is in stock and will arrive before Christmas.
