Bienvenidos a Miami! We couldn’t stop playing that Will Smith song in Miami… it’s just too perfect. You know what else was perfect? This maxi dress. Another light weight piece to fight the humidity while still feeling put together for a little happy hour and exploring.
Remember last week when I was talking about what I was going to wear to a wedding? Well I finally decided on this blue lace midi dress. It might look familiar because I also have it in red and white. It’s such a sweet dress and I love wearing it in every color. The lace detailing is so pretty and this color is absolutely perfect for a summer wedding.
I think every girl needs a fierce birthday outfit so I’m busting out this little red number today for mine! It’s fabulous and makes me feel like the salsa dancer emoji – AKA – perfect for my bday. We’re celebrating tonight at my favorite sushi spot, right on the water.
I thought about wearing this dress to a wedding this weekend, then I remembered my best friend Shelby once told me she thought it was inappropriate to wear red to a wedding. Something about upstaging the bride, and no one wants to do that! I’ve always just steered clear of the obvious; whites, ivories, nudes or even light blushes. So keeping that in mind… I decided to go a safer color route, thanks Shel!continue reading
The trend I can’t get enough of this spring/summer is tassels and poms on everything! I’ve been wearing them a lot, but keep finding new fun pieces I can’t pass up. I’m loving them on everything from this pair of sandalsto the more subtle ties on this top.
I’m all about pom poms right now. How cute are these sandals? They’re priced so well at $40 which is great for a trendy item. I don’t know about you but I don’t like to spend a lot on such trendy pieces.
These are so versatile I’ve already worn them a few different ways, like with overalls to brunch last weekend. But here I pulled out their red and blue with this romper and my Celine bag and was ready to go!
I have a confession, I’ve had a growing obsession with lace dresses, specifically Self Portraitdresses, for far too long now. This isn’t anything new, but I feel like it’s time to dive in and dissect the problem.
Because we live in this social media crazed world where every night out with friends gets documented and then shared it’s hard to wear the same things to different events. Let’s be honest, no one wants to spend hundreds of dollars on a dress for your college friend’s wedding if you feel like you can’t wear it again. So I’ve done a little research and have found some of the best and most affordable dupes to these gorgeous dresses.continue reading
