We just got back from a long weekend in Napa Valley. It was our first weekend away since Crosby was born… crazy, right?! We went up for a friend’s wedding and made a long weekend out of it. We arrived Thursday morning and I changed out of my travel clothes into this cute white tassel romper.

I’ve always loved a sleeveless sweater and think they can be some of the most practical tops in my closet. Even though they’re sleeveless they’re a bit thicker and are really easy to layer over. Perfect for chillier months and still fine in the summer with bare arms.

When I found out I was pregnant with Crosby my family and friends were convinced I was having a boy. And that would have been fine… but deep down I knew I always wanted a girl. Now that she’s a toddler, dressing her is so much fun, especially when we can match. We were sent mommy and me matching swimsuits from 98 Coast Av right after she was born and I’ve been dying to wear them ever since. Sixteen months later, her’s finally fits and we couldn’t pass up a chance to rock them.

TGIF! Was this week extra long for anyone else! For me it was because Jeff was out of town and I was solo parenting until last night. I did had some help, but I am exhausted. Shout out to all the single parent’s out there, I have a huge respect for you. ALSO today is the first day of public access for the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale! My favorite category of the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is always beauty. I’m not a fan of buying fall clothes in the dead of summer… especially knowing it will still be warm here for months. #endlessummer Beauty products can be used all year round and are always the best deals, in my opinion.

If there’s a more 2018 way to shop than Amazon… I’m not aware of it. But seriously, how much more do we buy when there’s only one click involved? It’s dangerous! I swear we get a delivery from Amazon several times a week, between baby items, gadgets, beauty products, clothes and even groceries there’s truly never been a more convenient way to shop. Which is why Amazon Prime Day is always one of my favorite sales.

Another day, another bikini. 🙂 We’re currently in the midst of a heatwave so it only seems apropiate to keep riding this wave. Over the past couple of seasons I’ve started getting into high-waisted bikinis. I got this one at an event a couple of months ago and tucked it away for our Palm Springs trip. The bright floral print is so fun, it’s from Show Me Your Mumu’s Barbie collection – which I couldn’t love more.

How cute are these matching pom-pom dresses from Peixoto?! When I got them I knew they’d be perfect for Palm Springs. Crosby’s was a little (okay a lot) big, but we still made it work. I love that they can be worn as a coverup over a bathing suit, or on their own. They’re perfect both ways.
