Have you been to any holiday parties yet? We have Jeff’s work party tomorrow night. The other day I opened my closet to try to decide what I’d wear and came up with four different looks. They’re all festive and different from each other… perfect for any kind of holiday party.

Our Christmas tree has been up for a few weeks already, but that didn’t stop us from making our annual trip to the tree lot. And of course, we had to dress the part. I bought these beanies when Crosby was a baby and purchased a second set this year so she could still match us. Guess who didn’t want to wear hers? Ha! At least Wilder is still willing to match with me.

I’m still recovering from the carb fest that was Thanksgiving weekend. But today I want to share my top five products from November. I started this series a couple of months ago and it’s been fun for me to see the products that end up being everyone’s favorites. They’re usually at the top of my list as well. This past month had a lot of beauty products, a pair of Crosby’s shoes and the rocker I’ve used in both babies nurseries. Let’s break it down…

Two years ago when Crosby was just a baby we got matching family holiday pajamas. It was so fun for us all to match… even Mackie. They didn’t have any for dogs so we bought a toddler pair for her to wear. (I think we started a trend because now there are dog pj’s included in a lot of them.) Bonus, Crosby wore the toddler set last year. 🙂 And last year just Crosby and I had matching pjs, but it’s one of my favorite traditions this time of year. Holiday pjs always sell out FAST so today I wanted to do a round up for you in case you’re shopping for any.

I KNOW!! It’s WAY too early for this! Don’t worry, I have not decorated quite yet… I just wanted to share a couple pictures of my decorations from last year. I don’t plan on decorating for a few more weeks, but tis the season to start buying decorations and everything.

Hello November! I know every year goes by faster than the one before it but it seems like we sneeze after Halloween and then it’s Christmas. So crazy how fast time moves. Last month I started sharing my top five best sellers of the month and thought I’d keep it up for October too. Happy Halloween! My post today isn’t all that festive, but I’m getting ready for a fun night of trick to treating with Crosby. I think she just might understand the concept and end up with a complete sugar high. Fingers crossed she’ll actually wear her butterfly costume that she’s been talking about for the past month.

Happy Halloween week! Today I’m sharing our family halloween costume… beanie babies! You can really do this with any animal and it’s a great group costume beacause there’s something for everyone. They can be as simple or elaborate as you want. This was such an easy DIY – I used felt to make the tags. It took me 20 minutes to make five and cost about $10.

My favorite way to dress up an otherwise basic outfit is by layering jewelry. I’ve collected a lot of favorites over the past few years and love wearing them in different ways and mixing and matching to make the most out of them.
