We just spent a fun winter-y weekend in Big Bear with friends. All last week the forecast called for lots of snow so we frantically pulled out our warmest clothes and even ordered chains for the car. Well mother nature had slightly different plans. While it wasn’t quite blizzard conditions we arrived to a teeny bit of snow and got about an inch Saturday night. Just enough to make a bunch of Orange County kids happy… and not too much that we froze.
I knew I should pack this cozy jacket and threw it on Friday morning when we took these pics. Speaking of cozy, Crosby’s bear suit made its second Big Bear appearance and she was just as cute in it as last time. I’m really happy we sized up when we got it in October – it’s lasted all winter!
We shifted gears Sunday afternoon and drove directly to the desert. It’s been so nice being in perfect weather out after our cold weekend. The hardest part was packing for two totally different places. Packing with a baby is hard enough, but when you have to pack for winter and spring in the same week it’s a whole other ballgame. Our car was STUFFED!
on me: jacket c/o, pants, boots
on Crosby: bear suit
