It’s crazy unbelievable that it’s already the beginning of August. Although we’ve spent the majority of the last 4 months at home, they’ve still gone by at lightening speed. I know the rest of the year will follow suit. Today I’m sharing my top 5 sellers from the month of July.

If the last four months have taught me anything fashion-wise it’s that a good wardrobe of staples goes a long way. Case in point, this $15 u-neck cotton tank top I bought back in April and can’t stop wearing. I first purchased it in gray but went back for black and white because it’s such a great basic. I’ve worn one of them at least once a week since and have continued to be happy… it’s really soft/great quality for the price. Topshop sizing can run a little small and I sized up to a US 4 for a looser fit and love the way it hangs. This tank always sells out really fast but is back in stock right now – I made sure to order a back up in white (my most worn).

A few months back, while deep in quarantine, I was searching for alternatives for biker shorts and cutoffs to wear day to day. I came across this linen pair and immediately ordered them. I am a big fan of linen anything, especially in the summer! They’re super comfortable and extremely versatile – I wear them at least once a week. Today I wanted to share several different ways I love wearing them.

I can’t believe the year is halfway over! June seemed to fly by even fast than the past few months. June’s top sellers were clothing, baby products and baby clothes – no home items I think for the first time.

I’m coming at your today with my top 5 sellers from May. I pushed this post back a week to take some time to pause, listen, research and talk about the Black Lives Matter movement. Pausing content was just a start, I’m hopeful that when everyone resumes business, this will not be forgotten and the right steps will be taken to work towards this change. We can all do better.

I’ve been trying to simplify my closet and stock it full of staples I know I’ll actually wear. Lately that means athleisure, shorts, jeans and basic tops that go with everything. Cotton tanks, tees, cropped shirts, etc. I love a good top that you can wear with everything from bike shorts to jeans – from taking the kids for a neighborhood walk and (someday) run errands or go out to eat. I know I’m not alone saying I’m glad March is over. What a weird month. For me personally it started so happy, I was planning Crosby’s 3rd Birthday party and starting to plan Wilder’s 1st as well. All of that changed just a couple of days before Crosby’s birthday, and the rest of the month was one big blur of days blending together. It seemed pretty endless and now April does as well. I know we’re already a few days in but happy February! I know the beginning of the year can sometimes drag but I always feel like once we get through February it really speeds up. I’m starting the month by sharing last month’s top sellers. I started this series last year and plan to continue it through 2020. Some months my top items are all over the place… but this month they’re not only all women’s clothing items, but they’re all from Nordstrom!

January always feels like the longest month, for some reason time moves so slow and each week feels like a month. I think it’s the holiday come down/start of the year that just seems to drag. For me it helps to look ahead to spring and I usually start doing that with my wardrobe. Last week I did a little shopping and pulled together some new fresh looks to get me excited for the warmer months ahead.
