Summer Swim Style

The sun is out and it’s finally starting to feel like summer! Just in time for stores to bring out all the fall things. Ha! But in all honestly, our summer is only just beginning and it won’t be anything close to fall until at least Thanksgiving. Crosby and I are taking this opportunity to wear all the cute swimsuits we can… starting with these fun one-pieces we wore Sunday.

4th Of July & Summer Outfit Inspiration

How is it already July?! The year is half over and the summer is kind of half over too… although here it feels like summer is just starting! I can’t believe the 4th of July is just two days away. It’s always been my favorite holiday, no surprise since I’m such a big summer lover. I’m looking forward to doing some festive things in the sun on Thursday. I wanted to share some outfit inspiration ahead of the day in case you’re stuck with what to wear. Each of these outfits can easily be worn all summer long.

Button-down Romper

I love a good romper in the summer. They’re so comfortable! I always look for ones that can be dressed up or down to maximize wearing potential. I snagged this one last week and have already worn it a couple times. It checks all the boxes and also comes in black. I especially love that there are buttons down the whole front. It’s perfect for nursing and can also be worn more like a playsuit with a top underneath.

New Spring Pieces

I’m such a warm weather girl and spring and summer are my favorite seasons. If it’s cool or rainy for any real length of time I’m not myself. Over the past couple of weeks I’ve gotten a few new spring pieces that I’m excited about. It’s been a little chilly here lately and all I want is for it to warm up so I can wear them!

Jumpsuits I Love For Spring & Summer

These shots in the Carlsbad Flower Fields from last year make me so happy! It was so fun to shoot there… even if we were being sneaky hoping over the green tape and breaking the rules. Today’s post is all about one of my favorite things to wear – a jumpsuit! And something I can’t wait to start wearing again. Getting me so excited to do some postpartum shopping. 🙂 I actually found the one I’m wearing in stock here as well as in a pink floral print that I’ll link below. Plus several others in various price points that I love for spring and summer.

Knit T-Shirt Dress

I’m 38.5 weeks pregnant and every day I think it could be my last day before baby boy is born. Not that I’m feeling 100% ready… but do you ever? I’ve also officially made it longer in this pregnancy than I did in my pregnancy with Crosby, as she was born at 38 weeks and 3 days! So wild to think about. I’ll definitely be trying to take advantage of this weekend in case it’s our last weekend as a family of 3!
