Just a quick post to share my new bedding that I’m obsessed with from Boll and Branch + a discount code for 20% off that’s good until the end of the month. We have the signature sheet set in dune, the prettiest sandy beige, and the windowpane duvet set in white. They’re both made of 100% organic cotton and are so comfortable and luxe. I love the contrast of the darker beige sheets against the bright white duvet. I’m also contemplating ordering a waffle blanket to fold at the end of the bed.

Our Updated Backyard Patio
I know the groundhog said there were six more weeks of winter, but it has seriously felt like spring here all week and it’s been amazing! Since the weather has been so nice we’ve been spending more time in our backyard and I realized I haven’t shared the few new changes we’ve made back there at the end of summer.

Swim Style // Favorite Coverups
I know I’m not alone with this thought, but towards the end of every winter (and summer, honestly) I start to get anxious for the next season. Our winter hasn’t been bad – we haven’t had too much rain or really cold weather but I’m definitely ready for spring + summer and everything that comes with warm weather. I’m also starting to shop or look at new arrivals and get excited about dressing for sunny days again. Of course that includes swimwear, so today I wanted to share some of my favorite ways to dress my swimsuits up a little…

5 Ways to Wear – Free People Pullover
Last week I styled my off white Free People pullover from my monthly staples five different ways. I’ve had this sweater for over a month now and have worn it tons of ways already. I’m a sucker for a neutral and this one really goes with everything. I’ve worn it with black, white and blue jeans, leggings and joggers and even my favorite cut off shorts in our January heatwave. It’s super comfortable for everything. If you’re not into the cream, it’s available in several other colors as well. Take a look at five ways I wore it last week.

5 Ways to Wear – Tan Shacket
This week I’m highlighting the tan shacket in my staple series and I’m styling it five ways. Well, technically six if you count the pic above from when I first tried it on. This is such a versatile piece that I know I will continue to wear so many different ways. It’s not super heavy duty and more of a layer than an actual jacket, but it works for Southern California winter and could be made warmer with a thicker sweater worn under. Sizing note, it has a comfy oversized fit. If you want it to be more fitted I would suggest sizing down. I went with my normal size and it is definitely on the bigger side, but it’s super comfy to layer.

January Top 5
Well we made it 1/12th of the way through the year! Ha. I know yesterday was Groundhog’s Day, but truthfully every day has kind of felt like GHD for the past 11 months. Today I’m sharing myJanuary top five sellers and then at the bottom I’m also sharing my Amazon top five from the month as well.

February Wardrobe Staples
Happy February! We made it through January, which arguably always feels like the longest month of the year. I don’t know about you, but I am so ready for warmer weather. I know I live in Southern California and can’t really complain too much about a frigid winter, but spring sounds really nice right now. Keeping two toddlers inside when it’s rainy/cold/windy is not an easy job. My hat goes off to everyone who has to do it in colder climates. Anyway, today I’m sharing February’s wardrobe staples.

Spring Cleaning With Walmart+
2020 was the year that really taught me to appreciate delivery services. I had dabbled in them in the past, but really got hooked on them last year. I was at home with the kids full time and didn’t want to take them to the store to run errands, so I really had no choice. But now that I’ve started, there’s really no turning back and I honestly can’t imagine taking my kids grocery shopping or on an errand… for a long long time.

Nighttime Skincare Order
One of my favorite parts of the day is my nighttime skincare routine. Is that weird? It’s one of the only 15 minute periods of time I get with no interruptions or distractions and it is very peaceful. I do it once the kids are down for the night before Jeff and I unwind watching a show. Did you know there’s a correct order for applying skincare? I recently learned about it and realized I’d been doing a few steps out of order for years! Here’s the correct breakdown:
